Paul
How come Paul was hosting this one? Just to help spread the experience. The more people familiar with hosting and partaking the easier it is to do the podcasts on a regular basis.

RoyRover
Another great podcast guys. Thanks a lot. God, it would be great to have Tugay as the assistant manager. The guy's a legend, would certainly lift things at the club and would be able bring his experience to the setup. The thought of him sitting on the bench and the fans chanting Tugay, while Steve Kean stands on the side line like a lemon is also a big plus! barry_
one question about the content... Kamy said that the owners were ready to sell players before the Utd game but that the result changed their mind. If that is correct then it would seem to suggest that they have already finished with us as a going concern and couldn't care less about our fortunes? Paul
I haven't listened yet, though obviously I took part. I thought Kamy said before the United game we had to sell to buy but after the match their thoughts changed to just buying but only at a low level of expenditure. There's a lot to think about when recording these - it isn't just a conversation, though we hope it sounds like one - and I can't always remember exactly what was said!! Brfcrule1
Railwayrover I know Danny Guthrie is not exactly the level we should be looking at and I know he is not likely to be the next Messi but the guy does have good points as Kamy states and I agree he is no world beater but at least he is a good solid central midfielder that has the ability to improve with time sometimes instead of going for the multi million pound mega stars you need to have 3 or 4 solid players who may not possess the tricks of a ronaldo or Messi but do the basics right and are a calming influence in the middle of the field and if he signs for us will certainly get my support. Kamy any news on Tugay, great podcast as ever.
Miker
I haven't listened yet, though obviously I took part. I thought Kamy said before the United game we had to sell to buy but after the match their thoughts changed to just buying but only at a low level of expenditure. In my view this is what will happen as well. Depending on bids, we may sell players but reinvest if we do. I am mindful that given our position and our club status that it's not easy to tempt managers and players to join. When Hughes left our main options were Ince and Allardyce, and that was with a better management structure and a squad that finished 8th. We had about 10m to spend on a striker under Sam and ended up with Kalinic. Tugay is a brilliant idea and would be fantastic if we did appoint him as assistant manager. Good positive move to get fans on side and maybe even improve the mood in the dressing room.
