[Archived] Swansea v Rovers Preview

Mate our full-backs haven't had cover all season, it's not going to start today. What we need is Jack to have a word with him upstairs asking for one of those miracle things.

I'm praying Swansea have an off day and we strike lucky.

And get 4 penalties so we can score 2 of them

Our only hope is that Swansea have let themselves go a bit and havent got anything to play for. Not overly optimistic I must say. Resigned to relegation so anything today would be a pleasant surprise. A win and we have a fighting chance provided we beat Wigan. I fear the damage has already been done though.

I see a 2-2 draw at best.

Ballabriggs - No horse has won it twice apart from Red Rum, so no chance

Seabass - Woman riding so no chance

Hmmm. Can't agree with your logic on either !!!

As for women riding horses, very skillful, and brave, in Equestrian / showjumping events often beating the men.

Stop talking about horses, you big girl's blouse :P

As for the match today, I make you right. An embarrassing defeat at the Liberty Stadium awaits us.

Listen to what their manager and some of their key players have to say. They feel they owe their supporters and are playing in front of a sell out home section, so as far nothing to play for !!!

Today's game feels like 'make or break' time. Lose and I really don't see any hope of staying up. Win and it sets us up for a possible escape through the Norwich and Wigan games. Obviously desparately hoping for a win but I can't help feeling Swansea are just a better side than us and, at their place, with their wingers, I can see them scoring a few.

So I'll predict a 3-2 loss and an evening of coming to terms with next season being a struggle in the Championship.

As usual, please prove me wrong Rovers...

Every player and manager will come out with that. We have far more to play for than they do. I dont think it'll make much difference to be honest, but you never know.

Cryer has just tweeted it looks like no Givet in the squad. I hate, hate, hate being a Blackburn fan at the minute, it stinks!!

An absolute joke !!!

You just feel like giving-up on Rovers.

They don't deserve any support or sympathy.

After Cryer wrote yesterday that Givet was likely to start.

The club is corrupt from top to bottom. A MUST WIN game and no place AGAIN for our best defender.

Easy 3 for Swansea today.

As said before, this football club is no longer about being the best it can be.

Still feel on this bright Saturday morning that we face a 3 or 4 goals to 1 defeat and that my bets are good.

For those interested in the Grand National, I'm going for Ballabriggs & Seabass and I'm on a hot run with the nags at the moment!

You tend to be wrong most of the time mercer, so here's hoping you continue in the same vein :P

Robinson; Orr, Hanley, Dann, Pedersen; N'Zonzi, Lowe; Hoilett, Dunn, Marc Olsson; Yakubu. Kean, Mart Olsson, Goodwillie, Modeste, Formica, Petrovic, Rochina.

Pedersen, Lowe or Marc Olsson at left back?

Gael's trained well all week but he felt a slight niggle last night so we thought it best to leave him out... we have two key home games coming up fast that we need to have him back for.

Jesus that's poor. Why is Martin Olsson dropped when he's the only left back? Where's Givet?

Pedersen was a catastrophic failure in his only attempt at left back in the past, Marcus Olsson isn't physical enough so logic says it must be Lowe or Orr - but why would you drop a proper left back for a specialist right back or a midfielder-cum-rightback?

Dunny was blowing out of his arse against Liverpool after 15 mins - surely his best role is supersub? Pedersen back?! What does Simon have to do to get a game?

It's like Kean is actually trying to get us relegated ..... Hmmmmm.

Good one. And when he's not in the squad even in the Wigan game, we're making sure he's fit for next season.. in Monaco.
