IMO, this is going to get dirty !

It will be a deliberate tactic to go public. Cranks up the pressure on Venky's, particularly if you have an ace or two or your sleeve.

I suspect the potential buyer has something pretty damning on them and Venky's will know that. Let's face it, there are enough folk to help fuel the fires (ex directors) and, probably, even current employees.

Feels like the chickens are about to come home to roost !

Hope your right Mercerman, and if true hope they release the stuff they have got after the takeover just for fun, hopefully that extends to Kean and associates as well

There is a potential buyer should be going public tomorrow. We are not talking mega bucks but someone who knows football and will steady the club. Whether Venky's sell or not is different question but this is viable if Venky's can be persuaded to sell.

Just imagine a press conference live on SSN, ITV, Sky News etc down at Brockhall....These new owners are sat there, Kean is sat next to them and the following happens..

Buyers: "May I first say what a privilege it is to have purchased this historic club"

Reporter: "What things are you going to change now you have full control?"

Buyers: "Well this first thing we intend to do is going to happen right no"

Buyers turn to Kean and hand over a sheet of paper

Reporter: "What was that you passed to Steve Kean?"

Buyers: "That was Mr Kean's P45, security please can you escort this man off the premises"

and so on.....

@Northern_Rover: ok last one on this or I'll get in trouble, we are not talking someone with mega bucks, but would steady club.

Under normal circumstances, saying we aren't talking mega bucks would deflate me. As it is, I'd be happy for someone to take over with half a mars bar and a curly wurly to their name. As long as they have common sense and can do a better job than these odd-balls, I'll be happy.

Hopefully they will have enough money to sack clown shoe Kean, and pay for a lawsuit for publicly whipping him through the streets of Blackburn whilst he's pelted with rotten veg.

Surely a joke who the hell drew up his contact .. oh wait I can guess ? If not could the "loyalty" bonus actually be a relegation bonus because that would make sense.

IF this happens, I just hope it's someone who cares about football and would care about the fans. I think we've all been beyond desperate for one of these rumours to come off, only to be kicked right in knackers. I'm staying firmly grounded on this one. Defo a few drinks tonight needed

Problem is that I think it's gonna take someone with big bucks for Venky's to listen.

Knocks a few out straight away.

Battersby / Currie know football but very much doubt that individually they have anywhere near the funds required.
