From his column in today's Mirror:

Now Blackburn are in the Championship, and have slipped out of the play-off places, I hope the fans are happy they drove Steve Kean out in the end.

The club stood by Kean when they should have sacked him after Rovers were relegated, and then forced him out when he made a great start to the new season. Go figure.

Meanwhile, bringing in Berg, a popular ex-player, has not yet been the answer to Venky's prayers.

I loved playing for Blackburn, and I will always have a soft spot for them, but some might say they have got what they deserve.

He can't even stick to one viewpoint.

First of all he was dead against Kean being manager.

Then after a few good results he said Kean should stay even if we were relegated.

Then after we went down he said Kean should do the "honourable thing" and resign.

Now he's saying the fans forced Kean out and we're no better off without him.

Strewth...

He's been distancing himself a bit away from Rovers for a while now. It's not fashionable in media circles to stick up for a club like Rovers plus we know whose tentacles are wrapped around that industry. If we'd have got Hughes back here he would have been all over us again and probably saying what a mess Kean left behind.

He's a talentless prick, always has been, always will be. I hated the fact he pulled on our shirt. The likes of Ronnie Clayton had more skill in their little fingers.

He played almost every game and was made captain in the year we finished 6th, I'd take him over 90% of midfielders who've played for us in the last 20 years.

Regarding this comment I think tomphil is spot on. Robbie has supported us fans to the hilt throughout this whilst almost all other ex-rovers have twisted the knife.

Robbie has changed position more than a pornstar doing an orgy scene. I remember him one night while summarising a game saying how he hoped Kean would stay on and keep us up and then later in the same game he said how he hoped Kean would do the correct thing and resign!

Um... No he hasn't?

Originally, he was very much on our side but quickly jumped on the Kean bandwagon and since then has been flip-flopping back and forth.

He just ran around like a headless chicken winding the opposition up, sooner or later he'd get booked and that was the last you'd see of for him that particular game. Next game, same old.
