I have jusy seen on the official Rovers website that on Sunday 10th March the line between London Bridge and South Bermondsey is closed and the Met Police are advising fans to travel by road. The alternative station mentioned to use is Surrey Quays and walk from there. Does anybody kow how far this is or can anybody offer any help or advice on the best way to get from Euston to Millwalls ground given the disruptions.

Thanks in advance.

Surrey Quays is 0.8miles from the Den and Bermondsey tube station 1.2miles. Bermondsey will be a bit quicker to get to from Euston though - Victoria line to Green Park and then Jubilee line. To get to Surrey Quays you'll have to stay on the Jubilee line and change again at Canada Water.

MILLWALL ISSUE TRAVEL WARNING
Press Association

Millwall have warned supporters attending their FA Cup clash against Blackburn Rovers to plan their journey well in advance due to disruption on public transport in London this Sunday.

Supporters going to the quarter-final will have to catch buses or walk from nearby train stations due to engineering works that mean no trains will stop at South Bermondsey station, which is next to the Den.

No trains will run between London Bridge and Streatham, and replacement bus services on that route will not stop at South Bermondsey.

Millwall have advised fans to get off at nearby stops such as Queens Road Peckham and Peckham Rye and walk to the stadium from there.

Alternatively, supporters can catch the overground train to New Cross and New Cross Gate and take a three-mile walk to the stadium.

The Bakerloo, Circle, District, and Northern underground lines are also part- or fully suspended while no overground services will run from between Surrey Quays to Clapham Junction.

Millwall have also warned anyone driving to the game that the A2 could be closed.

They have advised all supporters to check highways.gov.uk and www.tfl.gov.uk before travelling.

I have just spoken to London Transport information and there is a replacement bus service from London Bridge to South Bermondsey. You will need to ask an attendant at London Bridge where this departs from.
