Reports in the local and national media have confirmed that Gary Bowyer, Shebby Singh, Derek Shaw and Paul Agnew are all in Pune to hold talks with the owners.

Reports in the local and national media have confirmed that Gary Bowyer, Shebby Singh, Derek Shaw and Paul Agnew are all in Pune to hold talks with the owners.

Shebby Singh has been in Pune since Thursday with Shaw, Agnew and Bowyer joining him today. Sources have suggested that Venky’s want to talk to Bowyer about Rovers dropping into the relegation zone and how he intends to deal with the situation. The owners also want to address the issues between the executive board which have led to an alleged breakdown of communications between the board of directors amongst many other issues.

Unconfirmed reports have also suggested that club secretary Ian Silvester, finance director Karen Silk and supporters liaison Lyndsey Talbot are all set to leave the club. We have not been able to establish whether these reports are true.

There have also been suggestions that Gary Bowyer could be removed as caretaker manager, at present there is no suggestion that this imminent but with talks continuing in Pune the situation could be change. BRFCS understands that Steve McCLaren and Berndt Schuster are both very interested in taking the Rovers job but would need certain re-assurances from Venky’s.

Since the sacking of Michael Appleton Rovers have plunged into a crisis both on and off the field. On the field Rovers are on a 10 game winless run which has seen them fall into the relegation zone. Off the field there have been various reports about splits between the exectives and even suggestions of an investigation into Henning Berg’s contract as he is prepared to take the club to court regarding monies that he feels that he is owed.

More on this developing story as we get it.

So it seems like the only senior people at Rovers who are qualified for the jobs they hold will be going, while the shelf salesman, the PR man and the pundit will stay on as executives of a football club?

Same old, same old......who gives them a different perspective - doh, no one - so today we have "the shelf stacker is sound and the Riverside will be re-built to Ikea standards" and the car crash continues..........I hate to be a Rovers fan at present, I spoke to one of my staff today, Everton fan, can't comprehend our plight, can't get his head around it, just like rest of the footy population.....we are on our own, like Pompey et al, very, very low about our club. They will never learn.

So it would seem the Raos have decided to bang some heads together and attempt to resolve the boardroom rift. I've got no problem with that at all. Except for the fact it should have been done months ago.

In typical venky style the timing is absolutely ridiculous. But then I don't need to tell any of you this because most of you seem to be able to grasp that concept already. Only real feckin eejits wouldn't right?

I tell you what, I've never been more convinced that they're trying to get us relegated with seemingly weekly turmoil after turmoil, asian betting markets anyone?

The only thing is, the people we're talking about have more money than they can ever spend, so unless its other people betting on the demise of the club, I can't get my head around it Abbey?

So Venkys are happy to trust:

A slug

A p!ssed up Scotsman

A madman from a footballing desert

A nobender

A load of self interested wasters

But not:

Anyone from Blackburn or Rovers fans

I hope the club eats all their money and they end up in a hovel like the rest of the punies.

Bowyer getting the blame for us being in the relegation zone? Seriously? I think that sums things up.

Weve had more managers this season than United have had since the mid 1970's.

Yes. Look how we got to near safety and blew up last season too.

The Raos are either the biggest cretins who ever walked God's earth or you look at some of the people who they socialise with.

He was due back tomorrow but people in Pune are saying that he is still there so no chance that he will be back tomorrow.

Good grief, staggeringly stupid. Surely no-one who's been following events the tiniest bit closely can be in any doubt that this is way past the point of just incompetence.
