Where's the love for Callum Davidson Gordon? :D

If Leeds are in an even worse position than us, then Bates really must have worked his magic!

It is a strange carry on with Paul Ince and Blackpool. No doubt that Paul had a disagreement about how much money from his son's sale would go into the team and how much goes into Mr. Oyston's account. No doubt Ince Jnr. will be replaced by someone from Bedford Town or a similar level.

Bates arrived after the damage was done. He's prob the best bloke to turn it round for them too...... along with Karl Oyston that is. Seriously there are few owners who run a club to make a profit as they should. Oyston is one so fair play to him. When it was time to put up or shut up he put up when no one else was interested. Whats wrong with expecting a return on an investment? From the old scratting shed that was closed every time it was windy and 3rd/4th Div football Blackpool now have a new stadium and have had significant success in recent years.

As for Paul Ince. He's completely useless as a manager and as soon as Tom is sold Paul's usefulness to Oyston and Blackpool is at an end. I doubt Oyston will even give him the option of 'My way or the highway'. I certainly wouldn't.

Just a shame Kinnear is at Newcastle with that lot. Hell, they should get Hoddle and Pearce in too.

Town (Huddersfield) have finally clinched signing James Vaughan on a 3 year deal. From our point of view things are coming together nicely. Vaughan is back, Jon stead is an Upgrade over Lee Novak, Patterson replacing Jermaine Beckford. I'm not saying everything is rosey but, I think Town are heading towards being a solid mid-championship team with an outside chance of the playoffs.

Now I know that this is League 1, but I thought I'd share the crazy goings on at my local club:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23163594

So to sum up as quickly as I can, Coventry City are seeking to spend 3 years playing in a stadium that holds about 4,000 less than their average attendance whilst a new stadium is being built at an unknown location within the area. This temporary accomodation is about half an hour to 40 minutes away, down the M1. So the new owners, who owned the part of Coventry City Football Club that didn't go into administration and bought out the half that did (that's another convoluted story) turned down the offer from the company that owns the Ricoh Arena to play a season or two 'rent free' in order to build there own stadium, somewhere round here.

What that mean is that the city of Coventry would have two new stadiums, one with no football club, but great conference facilities a casino etc. and Stadium X, where Coventry City will play which no-one has even drawn up plans for. That is what seems to be happening right now, but the Football League has to ratify the groundshare with Northampton Town and the way the issues about the stadium, the rent etc. have gone for the last year or two it would not be a surprise if it was not ratified.

We're not the only fans in a seemingly permanent state of disbelief and confusion.

That photo looks like the heads have been stuck on retrospectively.

edit - the photo appears to have been changed. It was a team photo.

I don't see the teams coming down as to much of a threat regardless of who they sign, the last few years alone have shown how hard it is to adapt for prem teams coming into the championship, Reading may suffer the least as they should be used to yo-yoing by now.

Holt and Perch to Wigan, hmmm that seems to be some signings by them. Pity our scouting department only scouts ex flops.

It doesn't really take much of a scouting department to dig up players like Perch and Holt. Expensive players with questionable motivation, been there, done that, no thanks.

Which 'ex-flops' have we signed? if you mean Judge he hardly flopped, he just didn't get a chance in the Prem.

As for Wigan, they also signed Marc Antioine-Fortune from WBA last week. However, with Di Santo & Boselli having already left and Kone about to, they didn't have a striker at the club. Wigan have to rebuild this season because most of their good players will be leaving.

Don't be negative hail hail mrs d is the fashion dude

Or, let's get behind the new manager regardless of the pig's ear the Venksters have made of it. Your choice 'dude'.
