Bess bowled like a drain in the first test. England stuffed here, 250 would be a good score batting 4th

some brainless bowling by moeen at the moment. Pitching far too short

Koli b Drain, Pujara b Drain, Pant b Drain, Rahane b Drain.

He bowled badly though which is why he was dropped. Two of those wickets were very lucky and second innings he bowled more full tosses that balls he pitched

Yes, I'd rather your donation went to a homeless charity instead of a football club if possible

Yep, that can be arranged @jim mk2, no worries. I've already given a tenner to Darwen Rangers but I'll make a point of going down to Sainsbury's in Darwen this morning and gladly give a tenner to the really sociable chap, who stands outside every single day: rain, hail, snow or blow, selling 'Big Issue'.

What I'll do though, if you don't mind;  I'll not take a copy of the magazine and contribute further to that arsehole, 'champagne socialist' proprietor, but give the lad my tenner (50% yours?) free and gratis, just as I've done on a weekly basis for at least the past 10 years, when I've been in town.

WE ARE The Rovers!!!

edit:  @jim mk2, you do realise that YOU could owe me a £score possibly don't you?

I'm ever the eternal optimist, great patriot and definitely a 'glass half full' type of person:

Highly unlikely for 'US' to win this 2nd Test but it is NEVER over until 'The Fat Lady' has sung! (Can one say 'fat' or 'lady' these days?)

Fuck knows, in this lunatic, PC 'Libtard', World, that WE all now live in! Perhaps it would be better and more acceptable to say "It's never totally over until the clinically obese person with tits springs in to song"!

WE ARE The Rovers!!!😜🤣

Ever the optimist me, 200-1 now for an England win, (110-6) but effectively for 5 (Leach being 'night watch man')

I've just put £50 on it because we bat all the way down now to Broad.

If I win I've £10k to come back and if I lose, well shit happens but I've got almost half of that to come back off @jim mk2.

COME ON ENGLAND!!!

Third test tomorrow 9a.m.

Big first innings total absolutely vital. Toss very important.

Then again, Jimmy bowling under lights could be amazing. Unfortunately, so could India.

Great time to start a test den.

Free to air Tv.

Looking forward to it.

We could do with @Kamy100 joining us for the Opposition viewpoint.

I don't support India, I am Pakistani heritage and even then England is always my first love.

Hopefully we can put a big score on the board in the first innings, the pitch looks very dry for day 1 and it could be a mistake just going in with 1 spinner, although with the pink ball and the lights it could possibly swing late in the day.

Have to be careful in the first hour as the pink tends to swing much more in the first 10-15 overs.

I got that wrong then 😲 I thought you were Indian Kamy.

Still, I do know from your Twitter posts that you’re a keen cricket fan. I’ve just been out to pay my respects to Graham the rovers fan that died from Covid recently.

When I went out that ball was doing all sorts. Hopefully it’s calmed down now.

Sibley has good concentration and the temperament to play a long innings but his technique is so poor. His bat does not come down straight and he turns his wrist at most balls to try to play them to leg. A good bowler will get him out and I don't see him as a long term solution to open the England batting
