I was trying to think who he reminded me of and it is that bloke who used to run Mr G's and one or two other places in Blackburn. Always wore a long black coat, leather i think, looked like a gangster but seemed a nice bloke. Not sure he was a fan but used to sponsor the odd match etc at Rovers.

Is it not him ?

Mr G's was run by none other than Geoff Sutcliffe and his Mrs used to collect the cash.

Vinjay tweeted that Alan Myers said it was him so it's looking like he's been outed at last. Probably be a hairdresser in the area getting a client tomorrow asking for an emergency short back and sides, shave and hair colour :rover:

That or he'll be summoned back to India for Balaji and his other cowards to beat the crap out of for getting himself photographed. Then again would they dare beat up their partners man ? #doubleagent

Cue press pack camped outside Nigel's Cutting Shop tomorrow.

Just out of interest, now we have (potentially) identified him, now what?

This is a story in its own right. "Who is the man that Venkys have allegedly made their man on the ground at Ewood?"; "Is he officially employed?" "Why no announcement?" "What is his role/remit?"

If the media are being silenced by legal issues (because things can't be proven) then they have two choices stick to proven facts or ask questions.

In know they won't because they are in the club's pocket but the LT should be all over this. If Cheston is not the main man and is answerable to somebody else then this person should be the one they go to for statements about the club and it's future.

At the very least he should not be allowed anonymity if he does have a say in our future.

Now we know what he looks like, we need to conduct a county-wide manhunt, get his photo on FB, Twitter, milk cartons, ask the LT to put it on their front page. As we hone in on his location hopefully a dramatic Fugitive-style chase and capture will ensue. Whoever snags him first needs to say in a wild, unhinged voice “WE’VE BEEN LOOKING FOR YOU!” and start cackling manically. Then we truss him up in chains and march him down Bolton Road before the Newcastle game, shouting our victory to the other fans (maybe get the odd “Allahu Akbar” in). Once we’re at the ground, we sit him on a chair in front of the Directors entrance and the world media, shine a bright light in his face and interrogate him. We’ve got 12 days folks, let’s get to it!

Now now, the Telegraph have enough on their plate trying to stir it up with the Marshall to Wolves rumour and no doubt have more irons in the fire for linking our players with moves away at the behest of Cheston/Coyle.

The Telegraph won't tackle the Pasha issue because Cheston/Coyle won't spoon feed them information because they don't want people to know he's here or what he's really up to.

Instead they will spoon-feed tittle tattle rumours about players leaving in the increasingly desperate hope that someone, anyone, will cough up a few hundred grand for him then we can get his wages off the books asap.

Any local paper worthy of the name would be all over the Pasha issue. Unearth his past, his associates, business dealings, who he used to work for.

He's been hanging around like a bad smell for more than a year since he disgracefully dumped Bowyer and his staff and yet our local paper still hasn't managed to find a picture of him, something it seems BRAG was able to do quite quickly on the internet.

What do they talk about in press conferences? Do they just press play on Coyle's head and record all his inane ramblings and pick out the best bits? Then ask him if there's any players heading for the exit that need advertising this week?

Don't know if this guy is pulling the strings on behalf of his chicken bosses or he's there to mediate, spy, oversee things on behalf of his former bosses and possible hidden partners and the Indians ?

One thing for sure and doesn't really need debating is Cheston is just the latest in a long line of puppets plonked in office for no other reason than to satisfy rules.

The venkygraph is a boxed off joke of a rag compared to the Coventry local paper who are backing the protests to the hilt and have the backing of some well-known ex players

Indeed Athlete. SISU (the Coventry City owners) even banned their journalists from press conferences after the Cov Telegraph had a headline basically saying 'Just go SISU FFS'. Oh, and after next season, Cov City will be homeless as they have fallen out with Wasps big time over staying at the Ricoh. There's Coventry Rugby club's ground, but that'll be too small or the Speedway stadium, which is involved in a lot of legal nonsense over ownership and/or who should pay for upkeep and improvements.

It can only be that advertising revenue from Rovers exceeds the income from paper sales. Sign of the times, I suppose, and yet another self-fulfilling prophesy: "I don't buy that rag it's crap and full of adverts" and that's because...?

The LT situation sadly mirrors Rovers', customers aren't buying so the product is downgraded and owned by people who don't know, let alone care about, the town. The only difference is that the LT didn't go out of its way to @#/? off its customers in the first place.
