Eddie1363894574
Blackburn deservedly lead at the break following a good first half at home to Swansea. Rovers took the lead on the 20-minute mark when Givet found space on the over-lap before cutting the ball back across the box to Yakubu who side-footed a wonderful finish into the top corner. Givet nearly doubled the lead only moments later, but his header was well saved by Vorm. The home side continued to dominate, but against the run of play Swansea equalised when Leroy Lita headed in off the post, giving Paul Robinson no chance in the Blackburn goal. Blackburn retook the lead right on the stroke of half-time when substitute Simon Vukcevic volleyed back across goal for Yakubu to head into an empty net.
