Think the 'fat lady' is stretching her vocal cords prior to bursting out in song.

Anyone remember the dB's!?!?

Some days the phone rings off the wall

Some days it's not so much

And some days it does not ring at all

But today could be the day!!

Will this be a daily occurrence now until the end of the season?

I had been willing to give Mowbray more time until this last couple of weeks when some of the things he has been saying have you just been truly bizarre..

the worst comment has to be that after the Reading game we have sat down and had a chat about how we can get more people into the box...… You mean it has taken 33 games to realise we don't get enough men in the box

Never a truer word said, Chaddy. We argue back and forth on here and there but Rovers fans are powerless.

I think that, ultimately, is why we all feel so frustrated. 1 point in seven, 16 in 18. We're going backwards all the time...yet nothing will happen unless India decides it will.

We are waiting for them to make a decision on Mowbray and the future of the club

Why not?

Isn't the expectancy we will lose?

Think Johnson and Barr would be asked to take Saturday's match - can they really do worse than Mowbray's last 6 / 7 games?

Do you still think Mowbray will be sack before the Millwall and the 2 home games against Swansea and Brentford?

I think if he was getting sack it would be done by now. It hasn't happened yet.

Then tell him to feck off and he gets nothing.

Cheston and Sylvester to hold the fort.

I said this last week that Cheston and Slivester could run the club until a new CEO is appoint by the owners.

Cheston has been at the club for 7 years now and Slivester has been here for over 8 years now. Both experience footballing people.

Clubs need a CEO and we moaned about not having one long enough. Directors box at away games and some home games virtually empty. Or populated by a turd from Preston bringing his mates for a jolly up, embarrassing. Lets not lose sight of the past in our frustration.

Waggot does strike me as the type who isn't afraid to get on the blower to India. Certain things have sped up since he's been here and we've had some decent windows. Cheston & Sylvester have over seen it before, just yes men though i pressume. THat's why they've lasted so long.

Main problem here is when the low end acting CEO is a best pal of the manager and has got his feet firmly under the Venky table.

We need a CEO at this club but it needs to be a good one, an honest one with no agency ties and all that. More than anything though it needs to be one who has the ability to drive a club like ours forwards.

It’s now Thursday not a chance they will pot him today with a game on Saturday!

Yes unlikely but putting DJ in charge would afford a little continuity and I sincerely believe we'd see a massive new manager bounce.

I had read on here sometime back that one of the Venkies bloodline was a game attending fan.  This had given me hope that word would get to them about how bad we are with Gobray in charge.  Sadly not the case, if it is they clearly are happy for him to carry on.

Oddly there was a stat that we have the most or (second most) touches in the box. Maybe they are all Armstrong.

Getting people in the box is usually a sign of direct football so some thoughts:

- we don’t have any deadball specialists (Downing?)

- we don’t have any crossers of the ball (Nyambe)

- we don’t have any headers of the ball (Gallagher?)

- Mowbray’s only attribute that he clings to us his style of play, preferring (ineffective) possession over (aggricultural) long balls

Just imagine if he decides that to keep us up he has to become more like Warnock, Big Sam or Pulis! Oh the irony!!

Let’s Just hope it keeps us up...

Cheston has been at the club for 7 years now and Slivester has been here for over 8 years now. Both experience footballing people.

I'm not sure I'd credit either as being 'football people'. Both are experienced by virtue of the shambles that is Blackburn Rovers under this ownership, not because they are exceptional at what they do. The club allowed Dave Biggar, Alan Myers and Derek Shaw to depart and failed to replace any of them, leaving Cheston and Silvester as the last remaining 'board' members on the ground at Ewood. They allowed that status quo to continue for well over a year until Mowbray told them to put Waggott in.

During that time the club drifted along in a zombie like state, existing but doing little more than that. Bizarrely Cheston seems to have ended up with the job of identifying Lambert's replacement and supposedly interviewed luminaries such as Russell Slade, Neil Redfearn and Warren Joyce along the way. To be expected when it's an accountant leading the search.

So yes the club could probably continue to function on a day to day basis administratively without Waggott but it really is unacceptable for a club of this size. They want their 'manager' to do it all and not have suits in the boardroom who know anything rocking the boat.

Jack Dowling fitness coach for academy at Everton has joined rovers first team set up according to Liverpool echo. Thirty plus games in we now decide to improve fitness!

Think he's just a replacement for the outgoing Chris Rush.

The India v. India one day series will also be held in Pune at the back end of March after the test and T20 games, so don’t expect our owners to be too bothered about BRFC with all this cricket on.

India V India? I'm definitely having a bet on that!

Liam Mason who was under Chris Rush in the fitness department has taken on the lead fitness coaching role with Dowling coming in under him

So the understudy of the guy running the department arguably responsible for the poor conditioning of players is now the main man. A classic rovers downgrade.

Prevailing attitude at the club over the last 5 years+ has been why bother bringing an external candidate in when an existing one can step up.

Not so simple in football. And we wonder why we are in the state we are.

The Peter principle springs to mind.

Chris Rush is highly rated. Few mutual friends who know him rate him.

They may rate him but the results in terms of player conditioning (the sheer volume of muscle injuries) and general fitness tells a different tale. The former not necessarily his fault but can’t say I’ve been impressed by fitness levels either. Although this season we have stopped conceding late goals which I’m sure was purely fitness related.

Do you not think that the lack of proper rest time during the summer and proper five to six pre season has cost Rovers and other teams this season in terms of injuries and fitness.
