Happy Kean Out Day

Yeah. Lota of managers lose their way at a club and need a change. Souness by the end has lost the plot here but did great work the first 3 years. Wagner did really well getting promoted and staying up. Not too surprising he is doing well elsewhere.

Even Coyle had one success on his record - Ince had several! Most managers click at one club and get something right, the good managers do it at numerous places.

As for the odeous one - a comparison with Bowyer is interesting. Both promoted vastly beyond what they expected. Neither had any success (Bowyer did show he was nifty in the transfer market at least.) And yet since then after, imo, being overpromoted and with only Rovers on his managerial CV Bowyer has had several jobs. Kean has had no others in English football. This to me.speaks volumes of the regard he is held in.

Equally that no one has gone for him even as a coach is huge. (Understandable mind.) Appleton as others have said has done well as assistant manager. To not be valued - or more likely trusted - as a coach even, again speaks volumes.

I suppose he is set up for life after his scam with us but if he is the football man he says he is (although you can't trust a word from the snakes mouth), IF he has the love of the game he professes then I wonder if he thinks his betrayal at Rovers was worth it. He's relatively young and could have had a fair few more years in English football as a coach and perhaps even worked his way up (unlikely but possible). All that's been thrown away on a quick buck and betrayal.

Being honest, uncharitable as it is, i do hope he misses English football and realises what he has lost. It'd be scant payment for what he cost us.n

I suppose that's how he justifies it to himself if he has any sort of conscience at all. Goodness knows this club has had it's share of grasping people. Some on here though were praising Jack Rodwell's attitude at Sunderland. So where's the line exactly?

Venkyicious Knids.

Speaking of that playoff final Mackay told Leicester's manager that he should complain about the appointment. That the ref would feel under pressure because of what happened 3 years earlier. I guess some people might believe that was spite (at being fired) but I don't think Mackay comes across that way. Plus he was friends with Leicester's manager.

Ke*n still spouting his rubbish. Don't have the stomach to listen to the podcast myself.

Just comparing his quotes now:  “There have been a few challenges I’ve faced but one of the hardest was when I was at Blackburn and I had a situation with Michel Salgado – if he played one more game then he had an automatic one-year extension on his contract. The owners couldn’t afford that, or didn’t want to afford it, and they told me I couldn’t play him again.

To back then: "He's got every chance of playing, He's got a contract that's still in place. We were a bit disappointed with the way that was reported because we thought we were giving Michel the respect to go back (home)."

What a scumbag.

The man is an absolute cunt. Obviously. No denying that. But I wish people would stop pretending Venky’s are an innocent party in this massive mess we have been in for a decade.

That first line has made my weekend.

And anyone that thinks Venkys are an innocent in the fucking shit show that our club has become, or claims we have to give them some respect for keeping pumping money in, can pop themselves in the same bin as K*an.

Re that original article “I slept on it and realised that I had to be honest. So I told him the truth. There is no point trying to fudge these things or paint it a different way.”

Had to be honest is he for real. I think hate is a strong word to describe someone and believe it but I hate that guy.

I’m getting myself wound up here but from past interviews and at the end of that article I think he truly believes that rovers fans disliked the owners and took it out on him. If I ever see him in person (god help me control my anger) I will let him know in no uncertain terms that it’s him I hated for being him nothing to do with disliking the owners.

8 years on, never even had a job laying out cones in the UK since, considering just how morally corrupt football is and he’s still beyond the pale, says it all...

He applied for the job at Bury. They laughed him out of the place. His name is mud in uk football.

Couldnt even get an interview at a L2 Plymouth a few years ago.

I had a chance to do exactly this at Celtic Park a few years ago. I ended up ignoring him for the sake of my health and blood pressure but there’s a part of me wishes I had savaged him publicly in front of all his ‘mates’.

Even now I couldn’t be in the same space as that ****  and not have a ‘word’.

I try not to hate, it’s wasted energy, but I hate that ****, with a passion.

Same Gav, but an Englishman having a pop at a jock in Glasgow might not have ended too well for me unfortunately ???

I would just love it if Kean someday came back to Ewood in some capacity as a coach for the away side etc..

I feel every Rovers fan needs to vent their anger and let that disgusting hard faced prick know we haven't forgotten how he almost killed our club.

Like many who've posted on here I'm similar when using the word 'hate'.

It's a strong word often used out of context, but not in Keans world.

I'll NEVER forget those toxic atmospheres at Ewood when he 'pretended' to be a manager.

1% pretty much summed that prick up.
