When you look through Forests squad its just wow. Cardiff, not so much but they have brought in some good players but i dont think they were the right club for Wilson (probably the only one willing to stump up for him). Bristol City, Birmingham, ourselves, Cardiff and maybe QPR have had good windows for me. Sheffield Wednesday decent too, and Watford have done well to keep so many of their best players. Derby and Huddersfield have had particularly strange windows. Not sure on Forest, plenty of quality but also plenty of holding midfielders and far too many bodies. That being said, their last 2 of Knockaert and Hughton are very impressive. Preston a strange one. Very quiet but plenty of players with only a year on their contract. No way Liverpool would have let him come here without some kind of verbal promise that Harvey will get game time, especially as they had no intention of letting him go until TM put up a strong case. Him and Dolan will compete for the right attacking spot. The signings today probably spell the end for Davenport and Chapman. Maybe Evans too?

Forest got Grosicki too. Hopefully neither play against us tomorrow.

Guessing finances dictated who we went for, but as you say, great to have that relationship! I’ve read on from the Liverpool journos and Sharpe that Liverpool never planned to let him go until we submitted a detailed plan for Elliott...that’s top class!! Forest have signed Knockeart and already have the likes of Lolley, Lyle Taylor, Grabban, Freeman, Ameobi and Guerrero fighting for their advanced positions. On paper their squad is crazy and with a good manager, which they now have, they should be challenging.

Questions need to be asked and answered ... He saw an image thought it was a photo of Gallagher playing out wide. He thought maybe if we play Harvey out there everyone will think it's the lad I spent $7 million quid on

I could never have envisaged such personnel arriving and even getting Mulgrew to sign for Fleetwood! I’ m sure every club wants to strengthen during the window but I can’t think of another club in our league who has done as well as us. Time for a little bet on the top 6 at least. Surely you can top Mercer's £150 @ 13-2? And from memory, that's for promotion. Think really big; and who knows, you might be able to buy the club from our owners!?? Mowbray gets what he wants (more or less) Venkys put another 18 million into the club presumably to keep us afloat over Covid but also to cover salaries for our new players. For the first time, Mowbray now needs to deliver. He delivered by getting us promoted and moving the club into mid table safety.
JacknOry 4721
Dack was probably half-joking when he said he might have to go on loan to get back in this side. Bit less of a joke now which is a good thing. Of course he still should but its great to have so much depth.

He did deliver but let’s be honest promotion from league 1 was the simple bit for a club of our stature. We where up against the likes of Shrewsbury for heavens sake. He did get us into mid table safety but some of his decisions have been abysmal when playing players out of position, how many right sided players did he play on the left? I believe now we have a squad, at least on paper that can compete, so having got his recruitment sorted, he needs to deliver, otherwise he will be on his bike and quite rightly.
