Well a full house on the Mowbray bingo. A textbook Mowbray performance with just about every ingredient on display today.  - Bright(ish) start to the game for the first 10-15 minutes but alas no

It was always going to be tough against a side like Doncaster. We did well to stay in it for as long as we did and make a contest of it. Donny have to be one of the favourites for this competitio

Beaten by a better coached and organised team, who played some nice stuff on the counter and thoroughly deserved their win.  The goalkeeper isn't good enough, terrible from Mowbray to spend money

I wouldn't bank on that. iFollow is run by the EFL, not the FA. Until this season, Carabao Cup (run by the EFL) games were free to watch, but that no longer seems to be the case.

Any idea how does overseas fans watch this game if iFollow isnt showing? Understand UK fans can use the FA Cup app, but overseas fans?

#Rovers XI: Pears; Buckley, Lenihan, Johnson, Bell; Trybull, Downing, Travis; Dolan, Dack, Brereton

Worst back 4 (5 if you include Pears)  we’ve ever put out?

quite damning, with so many out, Douglas cannot make the 11.

So why is Pears starting with Kaminski on the bench?

He wants to get Pears a game - nothing wrong with that.

Personally I'd have rested Johnson too and given a few of the U23s a game, but I'm not a tactical genius like Mowbray so what do I know.

@J*B

Your source's line-up:

Pears
Pike
Lenihan
Johnson
Bell
Downing
Davenport
Buckley
Dolan
Dack
Brereton

Actual line-up:

Pears
Buckley
Lenihan
Johnson
Bell
Trybull
Travis
Downing
Dack
Dolan
Brereton

Not a bad effort.

Didn’t even clock that. Yep, that’s an abysmal back four. Could we not have at least loaned Carter after this game?

Use a VPN to connect to a UK server, then watch on The FA Player for free.

Yes well done Chorley who dominated the Derby kids. Good to see Tomlinson and Adam Henley play for Chorley.

tomlinson looked well above the level tbh, always did think he was a decent player, must have been his attitude thats held him back

Football teams need consistency. Kaminski should be in the team unless he is unfit. There’s a reason Friedel was our best ever keeper and it wasn’t just about his ability and professionalism.

Isn’t ToMo mates with his old man?

Wouldn’t surprise me. But that’s an awful reason.

U23s football is his level.  Or, when they get too old for that they end up at Chorley and teams like that.  So, that was Chorley Youth v Chorley Men really...if you get what I mean

He has done it before with the centre half we had in league 1 and wasn't good enough for championship....Paul something.  His best mates son.

Kaminski’s has had injuries. A rare game to rotate so need to make the most of it. I’m surprised Mowbray didn’t go further. Worried about Lenihan and Johnson starting. One of them goes down and we’re in even bigger trouble.

Pears was always going to be in goal - seems standard for most teams now to play reserve keepers in the Cups (at least until the later rounds).

Yes. Could be nepotism, or a terrible decision that weakens the side and will throw our Cup hopes away.

Or... It's the 3rd round of the Cup, and a reasonable opportunity to give our young reserve goalkeeper a go after showing his potential in the previous game that we saw him. 🤷‍♂️
