Reach rumour will be met with the same old comments. But if we can’t have Elliott back, he’s a cheap option for that left-footer cutting in off the right role. He’s done it for years and always pops up with goals each season. Can cover that left-back position too which is helpful.

Perhaps if seen as a Downing replacement it can be viewed as a pretty positive change. But if viewed as the Elliott replacement, it is a bit depressing.

Either way, I did say early in the window that I’d have him. It just depends in what capacity he’s coming here, how much we’re paying him and where he’s going to play.

Reach an obvious link for them to come up with through the old Boro boys club.

Will have been on huge money at Sheff Wed so seems odd but of course we usually find decent cash for wages when we need to. Its the things like reimbursing fans and cleaning Ewood that there isn't enough money for.

He will have other suitors including clubs that try to get their business done early and quickly. We don't shop in that market.

I see Sharpe now dropping a suggestion that the embargo is still in doubt. If true then there needs to be a local media investigation.

Doesn't matter, we're still under an embargo, shambles.

Question did the Cambridge lad play with a strike partner or on his lonesome?  Clearly doesn't matter as we can't register anyone yet, Hilton was a special case.

Reach was a very good Championship player at one time. Good crosser of ball back in the days when left footers played on the left.  Still only 28 so deffo worth signing if his wages are reasonable.

26 yo Mullin appears a very odd link considering he's never played higher than Div4 and last season was the only time he's ever scored any goals really. Couldn't even get in the Tranmere side a couple of seasons ago. But who knows....turned down a good contract at CUFC so he's obviously off somewhere decent.

Sharpe suggesting meeting P&S obligations not a given. Out of one embargo and into another one potentially!

The most controversial thing about Reach imo is that he's a cross specialist. So are we going to start crossing it? Revolutionary

With Brereton and Gallagher potentially in the box....we need crosses...huh

As I stated a few weeks ago.

I think we will be in this embargo.

Only yesterday media saying Rovers expecting to get out of the Embargo and it's just a formality.

Now Rich trying to temper expectations.

I’ve read the LT article again (twice), and I don’t get that impression. It’s a delay at Companies House due to COVID backlog. Not an issue with the submission. Has he wrote something on the tinternet?

We always manage to stump up the wages for an ex Boro boy.

Wonder if he's HSH or connected to them ?

TM clearly thinks if he signs enough Middlesbrough players, he will feel like he's in Middlesbrough and will feel closer to his family.

Great someone to whip in the crosses for our tall striker Gallagher 🤪

Very depressing reading this morning !

Is it an embargo or is it not an embargo ?
Is it another Boro boy about to arrive at Ewood ?

Is the club shop open yet?
Have season ticket holders been contacted by the club?
Is there any announcement on this season’s kit?

My, my….how we have fallen during  the woeful ownership of Venkys and the chronic death spirals of Mowbray, Venus and Waggott…but what depresses me the most is that some “ fans” believe us to be lucky to be in the situation we are in …….“ We could be like Bolton or Wigan “… I hear them say 😡….…I WISH !  We have been dumbed down beyond belief .As things  currently stand we are a heartless, rudderless club…with fans divided.

Very depressing reading this morning ….…..anyway, let’s look forward to tonight and just hope that “ Boro Boy Gareth “ hasn’t borrowed Tony’s book on how to get the best out of what you’ve got ..
