I don't agree that we are a dysfunctional mess and no more what then someone like Watford

Watford last season were promoted in their only season below the Premier League since 14/15. I wish that we were so dysfunctional.

er,watford are in the premier league and got there by having a semblence of a plan to go forwards, both on the field and behind the scenes, stop coming out with ridicoulous quotes like the above🥭

We are totally unambitious and have a club structure (if we can even call it that) destined to fail. Clueless and disinterested owners who have had the club in decline since the day they walked through the door.

We are nothing like Watford.

We don't resemble Watford they are ambitious and have a punch above their weight mentality.

We used to resemble Watford.

Now we resemble a foreign funded ever expanding old boys pension scheme.

I said we should be targeting the top 6 which is slight different to we should be top 6.

Most Championship teams we have the same targets

We should be targeting managers like Dyche, which is slightly different to we can get Dyche.

FFS - do you not read properly or do you simply not answer uncomfortable questions for you!?

I will ask you again, this time please answer either YES or NO

IF Sean Dyche was prepared to come and manage Rovers, would you support the appointment YES or NO?

How it is uncomfortable question?

Its very unrealistic and not going to happened in million years Mercer so lets get back to the real world and be realistic please.

It is clearly an uncomfortable question because you are frightened of answering it!!!!!!!!!!

I can only assume that you would turn your nose up at the prospect of Sean Dyche becoming Rovers' manager because he has managed Burnley.  What a small minded attitude.

I think the real world is that Rovers as a football club are screwed and whilst the 'happy clappers' can't see beyond Mowbray and Waggott then we will remain royally screwed.

I couldn't give a monkey's what colour, creed or religion our manager is or whether our manager has Burnley connections, two heads or six fingers.  The bottom line is can he feckin manage and get us back to the PL.

IMO, Mowbray has wasted five years and we are a basket case of a club.

Loans are absolutely crucial to a club our size IF we were to mount a promotion challenge. The likes of Ben White and Pereira 2 obvious recent examples of key players who helped their adopted clubs to promotion. If we're to piss about around mid/lower half of the table again though not sure what the point is, unless we're that bad we need bodies to keep us in the damn league.

I agree. sadly I think we are also that bad we need them

Interesting view.

So can you outline in what way we operate as a functional football club?

IMO, Mowbray, Lambert, Coyle, Kean, Bowyer, Berg, Appleton have wasted 10yrs and we are a basket case of a club.

Changed it for you, please think bigger picture.......

Mowbray and Waggot are a symptom, Venkys are the virus, Oxford AstraZeneca over to you, I want to be double vaccinated by August.

Venkys Out!

Absolute horse manure.

Sacking Sam appointing Kean

Listening to agents over Williams & co

Letting agents lose on our transfers

Overseeing/allowing the destruction of the fan base including quashing all protests

Agnew and Shaw

Sheeby Singh

5 managers in a year

Financial irresponsibility in the championship

Cutting off the funds drastically to Bowyer and Coyle making it near impossible for them.

Appointing Bowyer over an experienced man

Appointing Coyle

No communication with fans

Firing Coyle too late

Having a stupid set up where the manager picks his boss.

Letting Ewood Park corrode.

Yeah great owners these. Definitely the worst. They have allowed 10 years of people to rip off our club. Can't see how anyone says that's acceptable.

Mate, we are a complete dysfunctional mess to be honest. Losing millions, a manager who shouldn’t be in post, lost 11 players, placed in an embargo with no head of recruitment. Now 3 weeks away from the start of the season, 6 weeks away from the end of the transfer window and no signings..no actual kit yet, It’s poor mate. Very poor!

Things can only get better! 😊

I love reading your input Chaddy however I have to disagree with your comment above.
Rovers are totally dysfunctional and are a complete mess behind the scenes - the lack of organisation is emphasised as below:

No commercialism regarding the kits, as we approach the end of July supporters have no idea as to the style or design of the new kit, yes we know we are blue and white for home but we only have speculation for the away colours!

Season ticket sales will have bombed big time because there is no thought process in place from Waggot and co! Yes we have those who renew like myself but for many others it’s nothing but negativity there are no emails, no commercial promotion and no incentive for new or indeed older fans to renew.

The communication from the club is absolutely the dregs. I have repeatedly emailed Waggot and those before him that communication from the club to the support is pathetic at best and needs some serious overhauling. Guess what? The shyster hasn’t responded again !

Where is the club promoting itself? The season is nearly upon us, we are at least 5 players short to give us a decent squad that is just about capable of survival in this league let alone progression, which should have been a relatively easy goal this coming season, to improve on 15th spot. The club is fast regressing to the one that slumped to relegation to Div 1 under the watchful gaze of Waggot, who I believe is out of his depth.

Mowbray was good for Rovers at the time he took the job. He himself has gone stale, he has regressed big time, his experiments have failed spectacularly at times. I do not foresee how he will take us forward this season unless a miracle happens.

It is these simple things that make a club tick, Rovers just cannot seem to get it right.

Good post, as a point of order though, whilst Waggott is either out of his depth or running us into the ground deliberately for some unknown reason, he didn't join us until December of the League 1 season I don't think.

Not sure why you include Ayala, Chapman and Armstrong. Ayala is the new Vince Grella, Chapman has a lot to prove - and Mowbray doesn't like his attitude - and why will Armstrong be here at the beginning of the season with a move to the Premiership almost a certainty?

thats all we have to offer right now

Wow, that must have been hard for you to type. Another good post.

Not sure things will get any better until the Coventrio (4cov?) are unceremoniously despatched though.

Gav will no doubt steam in at this point and say nothing will change until the owners leave but first things first.
