Still it doesn't really matter as long as whoever is in there gets behind the lads from the off. The busier the JW has got this season the more like a library it has become it's genuinely bizarre. Half the people don't even clap the team on, wtf is in the beer in that stand ?  Or do people just not drink enough of it ?

You're lucky to get a beer in the JW, the service in the bars is attrocious!

I think the library effect in the JW is in a large part down to it being the area of choice for the casual spectator. I often have people sat next to me who I've never seen before, some of whom seem to be neutrals and don't appear to be supporting either team.

Certainly can’t plan on the chances falling to center halves. Buckley should have a 5-8 by now. Travis needs to pitch in and our wing backs should too. It’s can’t all be on Diaz and Khadra all the time.

Our shot shy crew need more specialised practice.

I am surprised how poor they are, side foots, leaning back etc.

Get the head over and hit it hard, try on target and see what happens. Basic stuff.

I fancy us against any tram at ewood and tonight will be no different. Hopefully they don't play aswell as they did against Sunday and we aren't as wasteful as against Swansea. I think as soon as they had a man sent off and we were expected to have the ball and move it around we looked lost. If anything it played into their hands. We are much better breaking on teams rather than keeping possession. Even still the fact we had so many clear cut chances and didnt take any was ridiculous. We were much better than say the Hull game so I'm not too worried. Hopefully we get the same amount of chances and can actually take a couple.

Forest getting the plaudits for the FA Cup win. It was against a weak and injury ravaged Leicester who were awful and gifted goals.

We cannot be as bad as Leicester were.

What concerns me is that Forest have quite a few who will put the boot in. I hope we can cope with that sensibly as in revenge is a dish best tasted cold.

There is no one to fear in this bang average division which gives it it's 'competitive' image.

Competitive doesn't mean good.

Think you're right about Leicester's performance flattering them, although to be fair Forest were still very good.

It'll be a challenge for them to get up to the same level for this one, and we're typically a very tough prospect at home. I fancy us to win this one.

Agreed. We’d have beaten that Leicester side if they’d have performed like that at Ewood.

I feel another loss coming as Tony tinkers.  He can't stop himself, 2-0 to Forest.

I'm usually as cup half empty as they come since this lot rocked up into town over a decade ago, but I still think we'll win tonight.

COYB, still going for 2-1 so long as we put our best side out and don't start messing around with what got us this far.

I agree we can't depend on BBD finding the net every game, others need to chip in and make it a team effort. If you have a chance on goal take it with open arms. Other top clubs have 4 or 5 players chipping in with goals.

Not sure they fully deserve to be labelled in form forest. They've won 3 and lost 3 of their last 6 league games. Granted they played well in the cup game but so did the likes or Boreham Wood, totally different.

We need to make the fans believe again and there's no better place than Ewood under the lights for that..

Rovers have beat 3 of the last four forest have played. They have yet to play millwall.

May well be valid points but I'm still terrified of this match.

A loss tonight and it's not just a blip, it's a full on crisis.

Particularly a real confidence denting loss, say 2-0, where our goal scoring deficiencies continues.

Not been this nervous in a long while.

Cooper is an excellent coach and Forest lucky to get him - think they must be absolutely puddled in Swansea!

Think Wednesday for Forest will be a bit like 'after the Lord Mayor's show'!

You can get Rovers' win at 6/4 which I think is fantastic value.

Giles is going to be huge for Rovers and I see him creating at least two goals for a 'rested' BB on Wednesday.

Gone big on Rovers' win and also stuck a £fiver on 3-1 at 24/1.

Lost on Saturday but Rovers really coined it in for me in recent times.

Gone big? how big?

I'm liking the sounds from the camp, all very positive. Need the result now. This is definitely must not lose and not far off must win if we want automatic promotion

Giles to left wing back and then all that remains is who starts up top with Brereton. Surely Gallagher or Hedges. I would have Khadra off the bench

   Travis

      Rothwell

                  Buckley

                            Khadra                    Brereton

If all fit, would anyone start a different line-up tonight?

Cards on the table, I think we need to persevere with this line up for 2 more games, and have our increasingly (very) strong bench to supply reinforcements.

TM will have some difficult decisions to make when Dack, Pickering et al are fit, but if we don't improve our overall form and fluency over the next 2 games, the changes may have to be made anyway, but that should only be swapping like for like, and freshening up the forward line.

I really hope we've sold a few tickets for tonight, the team really deserves our full support, the atmosphere after the Boro game was electric and euphoric.

We are due a good performance and result on Sky.

I hope it comes tonight in what I think will be a decent game.

It will be essential for us to go for it from KO and to get the first goal.

Forest are a well organised outfit but beatable at Ewood and we are probably a bit better than my usual half-empty view allows.

I remember the tramlines, at the Blackburn end, but I can't remember any trams at Ewood.

The Boro game was decent, but ya the Sky cameras I think haven't always led to good performances and results. As Mowbray said though, these are the nights the players should be living for and cherishing

If we had taken our chanced we would have beaten Swansea. That Buckley miss infront of an open net was appalling and would have had us a 1-1 after about 30 minutes.  Need to play our best players and take our chances. An early goal would be a massive boost. My only issue is that Giles looks very good at putting the ball in the box, but we havent much to make the most of it.

I think Brereton might benefit. My favourite goal of the season so far was his header against Preston. Top class. He also scored one against Argentina a few days ago.

Both very similar sorts of goals. I'd like to see him as more of a aerial threat and with Giles we could see that happening. [[Working in progress]]

I would say the similarities end with the fact they were both headers. The PNE goal was a whipped cross from Khadra that Brereton managed get great connection on and guide powerfully to the corner, the Argentina one was a looping high cross that he got under and put back across and over the keeper
