That would actually be peak Rovers with their current organisation. And then spin it as a thank you to those who took a chance; anyone else can now pay £200 per shirt to make up the loss to the club projections.

This is the crux for me. Finite disposable to spend & priority calls to be made. I weigh up which matches to go to based on my personal xE score…Expected Entertainment..!

If it’s a new ground, an exciting away day, involves meeting up with friends/family…the xE rises. Rovers playing well contributes to the xE but is no longer the key contributor.

I’ve found I’d rather go to fewer games (invariably away) but wrap something into the day beyond just the football.

Once that habit is broken & you start justifying the spending then it’s easier just to watch on TV. That explains the missing 13,000.

The 8,000 are like I was in the 80’s…I’d sell my granny to go to Ewood.

My tipping point was Owen Coyle….the closest I got to buying a season ticket again was after meeting JDT at Brockhall…!

I need to see the XE rating in table format 🤣

Will the mythical 150th kit be in the tombola?

The bonus prize is "Venkys Leave." I've just sold my house to buy all remaining tickets.

Never learn with the bundles do they.

£100 for 4 games in the Blackburn End with one before Christmas isn't an attractive deal.

If they have to do a bundle, how about the 4 January home games for £50 or something? Ideal for a Christmas present, probably still wouldn't be much of a take up but would be better than that offer.

At this point it's hard to escape the conclusion that they're deliberately making one or two "offers" they know won't work so that Suhail can tell the FF that "We've tried doing X, Y and Z and it didn't work".

Then they can try charging the same numbers of fans (or less) and even higher amount than currently to hit their target.

£15 Riverside

£20 rest of ground

Against Wrexham on New Years day and you'd be approaching a full house.

Oh, and rename the Riverside in honour of Tony Parkes at half time.

It's like I'm living in a time warp. The Club just keeps on repeating the same old tried, tested and failed approaches to ticketing offers and apparently expects a different outcome.

They've done similar to this pretty much every year for the last 20 years now. Each and every time the uptake is a matter of 100s at best.

Why keep on doing the same thing again and expecting a different outcome?

Or maybe they don't expect a different outcome and are just doing it to give an appearance of making serious efforts?

And I haven't touched on the diabolical behaviour and approach of the club over the last few years and the clear obvious impact that has had on attendances. Almost as though they don't recognise that actions (or lack of) eventually have consequences.

Don't think it would be a full house but with their following we'd definitely be looking at 22-23k.

We'll not hit 18k as it is unless Wrexham turn out big.

A slight hit might be taken at the cheaper price but much bigger crowd but more revenue is taken on everything else and it's about re-engagement.

If the team doesn't flop for once a few more might fancy coming again or buying a half ST/bundle or whatever.

We have our own free advertising at a game like that.

This is exactly what they're doing
