Ismael states in the Lancashire Telegraph, he doesn't want free transfers, they take time getting up to speed. He wants signings in the Januarary transfer window. What's the betting He departs like the rest of them, when he doesn't get what he wants.

I think he will get signings in January, they will from overseas and will be of the ilk of De Neve, Tavares, Kargbo etc, although we may drop lucky and get another Alebiosu

We will then see just how much Ismael is signed up to the current model.

Personally I think he has been drinking the Rudy/Pasha Kool Aid and will be perfectly happy with this.  Which will only change in the unlikely scenario that Rovers go on a significant winning run and his stock rises enough to allow him to move to a non basket case club.

No way he walks out.

He's "aligned" with the rest of them.

O'Riordan back, a loan with a view to buy from some foreign second tier and a 19 year old Prem loanee.

Bookmark it.

They are very good at creating illusions in the winter windows to make it look like they are doing something.

Why does he want January signings when the 'owners backed us' with investment and 10 new signings in the summer and Rudy delivered the goods?

If we end up with some utter turd again and don't strengthen the squad this time round we are down.

This January is going to be our pivotal moment.

A striker to replace Gueye.

A Tronstad replacement given he wants to go back Norway at the end of season

A centre back cos we are short of once

The speed and strength model we set the bar at has only happened on the right. We need levelling uo somewhat on the left. We are completely transparent now in our paths of attack.

January I'd like a solid left winger and left back and a new owner 🙏

We all know that's like asking for a skateboard off santa and getting jar of peanut butter instead.

can't imagine either of those is on the list, Ismael seems to be all in on wing backs now, so is probably happy with Hedges  De Neve as his options there

Imagine the shopping list is (Rudys shopping list, not mine)

a centre back or 2 (one of which may be O'Riordan being recalled),

a striker (probably with Gueye being offloaded)

right wing back cover (which may be Duru if they can recall him)

possibly a new central midfielder if they can get one cheap enough or unload Tronstad before his contract expires for what they consider an acceptable fee

All cheap punts from overseas

Paid for by the sale of Pickering, Gueye, Cantwell----- at least. Clearly no move to tie Tronstad down so you're probably right there.

Could have signed a proper striker in the summer. We knew Gueye wasn't good enough.

Convenient with Tronstad. Another one going for personal reasons and nothing to do with Rovers. Still helps us avoid a new contract and pay rise.

Centre back - why didn't we sign a Hyam replacement?

Why is Tronstad allowed to consider non footballing reasons?

We dont play to Gueye's strengths

Tronstad said during the summer in Norwegian media podcast his family wanted to move back to Norway

So we get promoted this season to the PL, and offer Tronstad a 3 year deal on double his money and a chance to play in the PL. Is he rejecting that to move back to Norway? No

It is all relative. Make him a good offer he stays. Show him we want to accomplish something as a club he stay. Muck him around like everyone else, go nowhere as a club other than backwards and of course he'll leave at the end of his deal.

Who was the striker they spoke to on video in the summer but weren't impressed with his attitude? They mentioned it in that state tv like interview at the club a few months ago?

Does anyone know how much we’ve been allocated for Wrexham away?

Tickets went on sale yesterday although in the announcement it didn't give a number but I think after corporates and players allocation it's around 1200.

For the first time this season the loyalty points required is above 470. For this fixture the number has been raised to 510 for the first phase. I think this higher number will be indicative of how many people will want them and if Rovers have done their homework the first phase will probably see the whole allocation gone.

The second phase, should they get to it is 470 points.

Alright beacuse I heard we’ve only been allocated around 500 maybe that’s why the loyalty points for the first phase is higher than usual
