Ismael is the disgrace here. Stop blaming the ref. Everyone could see the equalizer coming.

From the moment the subs started to be made.

But he did come out and say he was happy with the squad and it was an improvement on last year. His interviews regarding Travis and the quotes on Gueye were a disgrace in public. And he likes an excuse after a defeat. He’s also as complicit as Rudy with the transfer policy.

Seen his latest claims about Tod Cantwell? The guy is a joke

he is just as bad as them lot

no doubt Tod is off in Jan and will be fit and ready for the first team wherever he goes next

also he never explains why he doesn’t play Pickering..:

Conceding so late is one of the worst feelings in football and it seems to happen to us far too frequently. The criticism on Weds was justified as we were absolutely abysmal. Today they did well and a point at Wrexham is a damn good point considering the money they have spent and their home form (beating Cov!). The degree of criticism seems unfair though this evening. Of course  Mistakes were made but there invariably is when a goal is conceded and hindsight always provides opportunities to say things should have been done differently. The truth is that the squad is of appalling quality and depth and we have multiple injuries to key players. The bench is the weakest I’ve seen at this level and the players have 3 matches in a week so subs will need to be made. We all know that this is the result of our feckless billionaire owners and their sickening stooges and they should receive all the ire. The players on the other hand put in a decent shift and actually gained a valuable point in a match we should lose convincingly (if you compare the two sides).

I thought we knew. Too expensive and need to sell. Tainted by team Eustace. Manager get bonus for appearances of new recruits?

Ribeiro was signed under Gestede and Pickering was a L1 player.

They just don't fit the system - it's really not that hard.

The ground is too big for the club Venkys have created.

From it being rebuilt until 18 months or so after they arrived it had never housed averages of less than 20k.

In a year or two we'll be on less than 10k at this rate.

Spot on, yet again.

Pickering was signed a a league 1 player, but was given a new contract 3 years (and 2 Championship top 10 finishes) later under Broughton before the taps were turned off (same time as Adam Wharton & Szmodics contracts were extended).  He will be above or around the current wage cap, similar story Pears

Ribeiro probably signed with that in mind, as a cheaper alternative

Cost was probably also the primary reason for why Pratt was originally in the team ahead of both, albeit he has worked out

What an unforgiving league this is. I think most of us would have taken a point before kick off but to concede so late, again, is a real hammer blow. Being more clinical with our chances, we could so easily have picked up 5 extra points this week and be going into the Ipswich game in hand, with thoughts of really pushing on to catch the behemoths of Millwall, Knob End and Hull. As it is, we could now be soon slipping back into the bottom three. Unless we can turn around the Ewood form, we are facing a real relegation battle.

Couldn't agree more.

The guy's an absolute disgrace.

What's happening with Cantwell again?

Read his quotes in the LT mate,Vi is basically blaming him for not being mentally ready to come back from an injury- sounds like absolute BS and what we have heard before, TC will be shipped out like the others who either earned too much or spoke the truth about the shoddy coaching and mis management-

Montgomery now injured for a min of 5 weeks!! What are they training on, nails? How has this club managed to get so many injuries

He played Hedges at left Centre back instead of Pickering, who had done it before admirably. That was nothing to do with ‘the system’.

Being forced out

either costs too much or he is outspoken about the shoddy tactics and coaching

Or both

Some harsh but understandable comments. I thought the starting 11 played well and we scored a top notch goal. Yuki’s finishing is getting concerning, the guy can’t buy a goal. Forshae, Morishita, young George and even the dodgy Aussie all played really well I thought. I thought we’d withstood the siege but Hedges stupidity, a great header back to the penalty spot by Moore and a wicked deflection cost us two points.

Harsh on Hedges, it was a very soft free kick.

Lack of quality finishing, poor squad depth & a manager insistent on making subs for the sake of it has cost us 3 points in the last 2.

Why change the entire front 3 who all played really well. Their replacements were & are nowhere near the standard.

The rest of the team were excellent, even Pears! He’s got shit hair but we don’t care 😂

Squads not big enough to allow rotation so players are rushed back or playing through injury for 2/3 matches in a week. Many of us foolish fans could see it months ago.

What was stupid about Hedges? All I saw was a terrible decision from a linesman

I love Yuki's work ethic but his finishing this season has been absolutely woeful. He has missed countless good chances, generally when he has time to think, his only goals have been first time reaction efforts and the deflection at Hull. We might have got lucky with Gudjonsson though, he's scoring goals and missing chances but is always getting in the right areas.

Seems odd to me that the Wrexham player would personally speak to Ismael after the game and admit it wasn't a free kick. I'm curious as to exactly what was said and why. I get the feeling some context might be missing.

At the end of the day if our home form wasn't so shocking we wouldn't be in a position where a good point away from home isn't enough, regardless of circumstances.

Of the teams below us we've lost to Norwich, Swansea and Sheffield United at home. We haven't played any of the others at Ewood yet. Keep losing to relegation rivals at home and that will do us in, not last minute draws away from home.

The fact we're even in a relegation scrap after finishing 7th last season is disgraceful in of itself. No comment on that from Val, though. He's incensed to even be asked such a question, apparently.

Fuck off Ismael

As I said after the last game, major excuse culture under this manager.

Last match was all about Tronstad being missing apparently.... well he didn't play today either did he Val?

A good manager would say we have to learn how to manage a game better, retain the ball in key areas and see out the win.

Some important home fixtures coming up... Get him gone before it's too late!

Forshaw played well today, he should have be in against QPR, Hickman and Montgomery was never going to be enough to compensate for the loss of Tronstrad.
