Not that it’s much comfort but the run of away defeats to promoted clubs has ended.

Next one to begin in a fortnight??

Good spot, given the depressing way the match ended, think we had all probably overlooked this.

Forshaw played well today, he should have be in against QPR, Hickman and Montgomery was never going to be enough to compensate for the loss of Tronstrad.

Precisely my point and different manager would not have lost that QPR game in the manner we did. They would not have blamed a terrible performance on Tronstad being out, simply because in reality he got his selection and subs wrong.

What was stupid about Hedges? All I saw was a terrible decision from a linesman

He could had been a little bit more careful in that situation knowing that there was one min to get three huge points. He's one of our oldest players but you do question it...

Todd is our captain so why should there be an issue.. think he will be back for Tuesday.

Fair enough to andri Gudjohnsen. Proving to be a quality player who can actually finish. Yes, in previous games he should’ve or could’ve buried a few chances but 5 in his last 7, in his first season in English football ain’t too bad. 100% gets it off his dad. Well done to the recruitment team on this one.

Went there hoping for a point and got it.

Yep. It’s just the manner we conceded. I guess it’s part and parcel of the championship.

So pissed off that we threw that away and not at the ref who now becomes the latest excuse.

The issue as flagged up previously is the state of the squad. And this is not because of some unfortunate woe is me injury crisis. The players being brought on are players that Gestede has signed, mainly this summer just gone, and they are terrible. They dont have any game management skills (or redeeming features at all).

Its going to be a long season.

With the way the transfer system looks like used/deployed/whatever word you want to use, the signings aren't all going to work, that should be obvious.

No transfer system leads to every signing working out. It certainly isnt my expectation.

The issue with our "transfer system" is the quantity of duds, and these arent players who are just a bit underwhelming, the issue is quite how bad they are. Miles off the standard, and no awareness of managing a game properly.

He’s scored some real strikers goals. That one today was terrific.

There's no doubt they've chanced their arm with a few, the Championship has been a wake up call for many a foreigner.

It does though, look like we might just have signed a proper centre forward for next to nowt.

There are things wrong with his game but get him the ball in the box and he score more than any other player we have.

Said at the time, missing good chances not good, getting in the right place to miss good chances very good.

Especially at the prices we want to pay....

Feels like points thrown away today. Worth remembering it’s less than 2 years since they came to Ewood and we completely humbled them. The trajectories of our two clubs in that time are polar opposites.

Dropping points is a big concern and we need to pick up plenty over the next month. We haven’t accumulated enough to survive our customary New Year collapse.

His first priority was to keep the guy boxed in down there and hope to win a throw in; second priority was to not let a cross come in; least priority was to take any risk at all trying to win the ball back. A cross onto Moore’s head was the worst possible outcome from that situation and that’s what initiating contact led to, bad call or not.

But 3 of the 4 subs were our main summer signings who cost us actual money. And all of the starters who were missing were in our squad last year. Which tells you our summer recruitment was fucking awful.

The 4th sub was Gueye who you seem to over-rate.

All of this.

And who is going to stand up and be accountable for this abominable recruitment? Not a fucking one of them is good enough for this league, not one.
