Unsure if Tavares is aiming to represent Cape Verde at the world cup, but to the untrained eye his performances would suggest he isn't interested in a world cup appearance

Gudjohnsen started a lot better than he's been in general play but he's been pretty much anonymous since that header in the first half.

It's like Yuki and him are one striker in two bodies. One all work rate no composure, and one finisher who does nothing else.

If you’re going to send Alebiosu down the wing at every opportunity, you need someone who can beat their defenders in the air and we don’t really have that person on the pitch.

I can’t even see in Tavares whatever potential the development coaches at his previous clubs saw. Not even particularly good on the ball. Hasn’t looked interested in a single match I’ve seen him in so far.

I churned out a 6min30/km 5km earlier this evening and even with my plodding id say I looked more mobile - that's without the 5 grand compensation for it
