I wouldn’t blame the subs. I think we should’ve dealt with the long ball better. It’s just incredibly unlucky and undeserved.

I would. Another game where the subs have turned the tide

Unlucky twice in a row, hey.

Quite like how he did that. Speech sells itself, “you battered a premier league squad for 170 minutes, but robbed by appalling refereeing”

Nah, he'll have said "stop switching off mentally. You've cost yourselves 4 points in the last 2 matches because you can't keep your concentration for 95 minutes. Enough."

Ipswich deserved absolutely nothing from that. An embarrassing performance from a £200m team.

Unfortunately our lack of quality in the squad massively hinders us when we need to put subs on. That's on the owners and their underlings. They have ripped the team apart and we're left with only being able to score a single goal against the worst team to play at Ewood this season, and inevitably conceding in the final moments yet again.

Ipswich deserved nothing from that game. In the end though we don’t score enough goals, trying to defend one goal leads is always likely to end badly

“Undeserved” and “Unfair”. Story of our season.

This team is going down.

Hope he was apologising to them for making the wrong subs yet again.

Yep…he has to stop this De Neve at left back for the last 10 mins. The lad cannot defend at all. If you’re going to make that sub, stick on Pickering or Ribeiro - it makes absolutely zero sense

That's the problem though, isn't it?

They slotted home their once chance of the game because they have that quality on the pitch.

I'm sickened, literally.

For me, pissing about in that corner was the mistake, we should of took it properly or kicked it short, tried to be clever and got stung.

We would be sitting 13th place if we hadn't conceded in the final seconds 2 games on the bounce.

Speechless.

Just when I thought I couldn't handle any more...

Lost our shape and composure once we we took the lead. I wouldn't have subbed on Gueye, I don't think he deserves another minute for this team.

Some great performances.

We were the far better side but we didn't create too many chances so 1-1 isn't a robbery. It's a bit strange that we sub on the same players that can't hold onto a lead again. I realise Hedges was knackered but Gudjohnsen surely could've continued?

No doubt McKenna will cite this as justification for the replay

And he has a point, we’ve conceded a ridiculous amount of late goals, granted they had 10 men but hardly out of the realms of probability that they would have scored

Has to try and justify the genius signings of Gestdickede somehow.

I believe that’s now 6 goals at 90+ minutes

We never ever score a 90+ winner or equaliser ourselves.

I recall under Eustace feeling relatively comfortable being 1 up heading into injury time. Val is a different kettle of fish - it’s disgraceful game management.

Thought we should have had a second corner at the end I thought.

Weird I was talking about this very same thing this morning in the context of VAR.

As at Wrexham though it's ultimately down to us to defend the situation and see the game out.

Shite defending from Miller and De Neve as per.
