After reading his post match comments. I do agree with the decisions that have gone against us all season. He just needs to sort his game management out. I understand he has to rotate the players, give them a rest etc and I do feel sorry for him a little bit with the subs we have at the moment as we are down to the bare bones of our squad. He just needs to do better on seeing games out which I think he can, as we’ve seen against Watford away, Bristol city away etc.

Tell you what Ismael and @Exiled_Rover would get on like a house on fire.

Love the list!

I'll send him a list of all the poor substitutions he has made so far this season. If I feel generous, I might also include a list of all the terrible transfer dealings.

Bro has a list fucking hell.

Fair play to him. He’s livid and he’s going to get a fine but I like to see his anger and passion. We have been on the wrong side of so many decisions this season not least the full replay 11v11 we had to play tonight. We are several points down from where we should be. Granted a lot of that is of our own making (why sit back and why bring Gueye and De Neve on AGAIN!!?), but shocking refereeing and bad luck has also played its part. He needs to use the perceived injustice and heartbreak to breathe fire into their bellies! 🔥

Someone needs to break out a chant about Ismael’s list on Saturday.
Here’s an AI take:

🎵 To the tune of “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands” 🎵

He’s got a big ol’ list in his hands,

Yeah, he’s wagging that list in the stands,

Every dodgy call gets scribbled in his hands,

Valerian’s got a liiiist… oh yes he has!

He’s got a “What was THAT?!” on the list,

He’s got a “Surely not!” on the list,

He’s got a “Ref, behave!” on the list,

Valerian’s got a liiiist… and it’s long!

I think i prefer the Rovers one but here are both bbc & rovers. TBH has made me warm to him a bit

Fighter, not a victim, you mean? The knight of honesty takes on the whole Football Association. They all work in the shadows to get Ipswich promoted, and someone must hold them accountable 😅

Should be talking about a Rovers's win and 3 points.

Good performance by us, deserved 3 points.

Gudjohnsen will the poacher goal at the back post. Great to see Captain Cantwell back.

Ipswich,'s tactics of time was a pisstake.

The referee's decisions not to clear penalty, red card or not to punish Davis late challenge. The standards of referring at this level is a shit

Gueye shouldn't have come on. Bloody awful..

Thankyou for linking that.

You know what fair play to him fair play for actually calling the officials out in black and white. About time someone did. Probably made me like him a little bit.

We were quite solid tonight, and Cantwell is a different class. However, we lost our shape a bit; Miller returned to his usual passing style, and Tavares and De Neve didn’t seem to care much about what happened after that poor last-minute pass. What I'll give Ismael is that we are performing better than the sum of our parts, the less said about our parts the better...

Andri Gudjohnsen is starting to give me Jordan Rhodes vibes. Wasn’t really in the game today but popped up with a goal. 6 goals in his last 8 and in 14 appearances in his first season in the championship, is excellent.

I'm all for criticising the appalling officials and credit Ismael for doing it in public. I've never understood the concept of why the officials should be protected from any criticism whilst players, managers, even fans get slated left right and centre when they conduct themselves poorly.

But I do fear that rather than this having any positive impact the clique will now have his card marked and he will be made an example of in games to come.

The lads played well tonight, with confirmation, if needed, that Gudjonson is now our most important player.

Don't you just love these linesmen getting involved one minute and not the next.

That was class how he completely lost his marker and got into the perfect position to nod that one in. You can’t teach that, it’s a sixth sense.

AI has missed a festive trick there. Surely ‘Val’s making a list, he’s checking it twice, Gueye and De Neve are naughty not nice….’

Who do you bring on upfront if not Gueye ? We literally have no one else.

I think we're at the point with Gueye that it would be better to get some youngster we haven't heard of out of the academy and stick them on for the last 20. At least they would run about and look busy. They can't be worse.

As expected, lots of responses citing bad luck, an undeserved equaliser, hard luck, curses.

We need to look closer to home. We keep conceding late goals, we cant manage games. Its not hard luck if it keeps happening. And its not kids coming off the bench, its subs that we have recently bought and that Ismael has presumably endorsed.

Ismael is perfect for these owners and this board because hes a loser. His sole focus is deflection of blame and the woe is me act. Eustace talked about a no excuses culture, Ismael is quite the opposite. Reeling off refereeing decisions post match off a pre prepared list across the season.

Special mentions to De Neve and Gueye, right up there with 2 of the worst players I have seen in a Rovers shirt.

Just don’t make the substitution at all!

Thought that was our best home performance of the season and we dominated the game. Unbelievable to not come away with 3 points.

Ref was atrocious along with assistants, the standard seems to get worse each season and you could feel them trying to give Ipswich the benefit on every occasion.

Ismael should stop making subs they just make the team weaker. Gueye spent the entire time trotting about and smiling like he had won a competition to play at Ewood. Never seen anything like it. It seemed almost a premeditated low effort performance from him.

As for Baradji, Tavares and De Neve they look abysmal and offered nothing positive compared with who they replaced.
