Cherry Blue Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Groundman, "The Board" & even venkys should be down at Ewood right now to see if we get a repeat when it rains this afternoon. Only light rain predicted but how good is this drainage now with a view to giving Oxford the ok to travel? is the ground playable after light rain following yesterday's embarassment? Quote
Popular Post Wheelton Blue Posted 11 hours ago Popular Post Posted 11 hours ago They hold us in such utter comtempt, that's the top and bottom of it. They simply don't give a shiny one, about anything or anyone. People spent time and money on that yesterday, but they simply do not care. No apology, no contrition. Nothing. The best thing to do is to boycott the replay, as has been suggested. As a ST holder, I'd be all for that, as would the Wednesday fans I imagine. 15 Quote
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago And still we await comment from the Club/Manager..... Quote
JHRover Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Move it to the Wham Stadium, should be enough space for everyone who would attend Ewood and we know that the game can both start and finish there. Matchday experience would be an upgrade too - easier to park, better priced food and drink, sound system 2 Quote

The pitch can't sustain that much water on it as post match pictures shown this. We need a new modern day pitch They werent, the pitch wasnt quite as bad as v Ipswich but was still unplayable and would have got worse. After the Ipswich game, you echoed the club that there was nothing we could do and it wasnt our fault. It was bullshit at the time but a second abandonment seems to have turned those defending the club last time into criticising the club which is at least one small positive. The club and the owners deserve the blame so fair play for not sticking to your guns. 3 Quote

It won't even be in, or enter anybodies thoughts until around 6pm Tuesday night. Edited 10 hours ago by MarkBRFC 1 Quote

The football community supported them in their hour of need. Hopefully they'll be happy to repay the favour to another club in trouble. 5 Quote

Backroom Tom Posted 10 hours ago Backroom Posted 10 hours ago This week has proven the EFL were correct not to give us the win vs Ipswich, we’ve shown how utterly abject we are at seeing out games and then the farce yesterday emphasised that we are not learning. I’m told the rollers weren’t on at half time? Why not? Why didn’t we have more? 9 Quote
jim mk2 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago A fine gesture towards fans who attended yesterday (including Sheffield Wednesday) would be free entry for the replay and half price for everyone else. What odds above nil are there of that happening? 1 1 Quote
BRFC. Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago So the club are loaning Pickering out and selling Gueye to “reduce the wage bill” and will spend a bit on “younger players” see the club still haven’t learnt from mistakes.. 1 Quote

lraC Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago The Oxford game might be a bit too soon, but what about a rubber duck infestation of the pitch? Given this pitch problem has hit the headlines, it feels like an opportunity to raise awareness that we should not pass up. Looks like we could get around 3,000 for around £350 2 Quote

I think they should go further still, free entry to all Wednesday fans who travelled and to all Rovers ST holders and walks on who attended and £5 charge for anyone else. Quote
