This game puts a lot of pressure on the gaffer and the players. I hope they’re up for this and show strong mental resilience to get the much needed home win.

I wouldn't be surprised, if the Oxford game is cancelled. Heavy rain forecast Tuesday. Another fantastic save from Pears against Sheffield Wednesday, after a pass got stuck in the waterlogged pitch, and a Sheffield Wednesday striker was clean through on goal.

It's to absolutely chuck it down in Blackburn from 02:00 Tuesday morning for 8 hours followed by lighter rain.  The club will not want the embarrassment of a 3rd abandonment in a matter of weeks and given the distance involved with Oxford, I think the game will be postponed pre lunch.

I think we are a club in a race to the bottom both literally and metaphorically.

Sad times for a once great club.

I used to love match days now I just think what's the f'ing point. Team sold, average unknowns bought, awful ownership, no money, decaying ground, abandoned game after abandoned game, directors who couldn't organise a bunk up in a brothel. We used to be Blackburn Rovers FFS. I'm embarrassed to say that out loud these days, I keep it secret. Win lose or draw this match will have no impact on anything, we'll survive this season by the skin of our teeth and then the whole circus starts again next year. Plus ca change and all that.

Rovers 1:0 but game abandoned due to Venky/Padha/Gestede mismanagement .

It has been very disappointing. All the goals allowed in added time, not being able to finish what should have been easy 1-0 wins on our waterlogged pitch, etc.

I am generally a sunshine pumper, but there’s little hope of suddenly, things going our way.

I'm sure the tide will turn for Rovers, and the long suffering faithful at Ewood. We've had our share of bad luck, when we've been playing well.

There'll be a literal tide at Ewood soon.

How about covering the Ewood pitch with giant polythene sheets, can't cost a million. Just an idea.

You still have to get rid of the water, and it would be no good against the rain during the game. The drainage system needs to be upgraded and be fully functional. The club needs to bite the bullet and cure the problem

It didn’t get stuck, Lewis Miller is just a very bad footballer

Yeah don't know why they didn't do this in first place but drainage still a priority.

Had a yellow 'severe' weather warning earlier today, for Tuesday (I live within a mile of Ewood).

The club can't say they weren't forewarned, absolutely no excuses.

would cost a fortune to cover the whole pitch, pasha would probably faint if he got  the quote😷

nothing short of investment in the pitch and drainage will solve the issue,as it`s midseason there is`nt a chance that will happen at the moment, better stand by and watch us get fined or ordered to move the game if it carries on,imo we are a professional club in name only,it`s an amateurish merry go round behind the scenes, bloody chorley are better run than we are, they never run out of pies either and they`ve got sky sports in the clubhouse
