Looks highly likely to be off again this, but postponed rather than abandoned.

If all other fixtures in the area are on, it will put more spotlight on the club and added pressure hopefully.

There is no mention of a 2pm Pitch Inspection on the Official site?

Because they pretend everything is normal

Somebodies theory to the waterlogged pitch at Ewood, was the pipes are probably blocked underground. I agree, could be the problem. It could be a blessing in disguise, if its postponed tonight, with our flimsy squad, and long injury list. I'm diehard Rovers. 3-0 Rovers, if it goes ahead.

It comes to something when you feel like this but I’m with you, I’m hoping it is postponed.

If the heavy rain is stopping in a couple  of hours for the rest of the day, I suppose it depends what damage the overnight rain has done to the already mess of a pitch,

I think they will play, whether the game lasts who knows but i definitely think it will kick off.

Yes

shame on them

so many people, literally thousands would turn up to watch them play, on a cold winter Tuesday night before Christmas, and they can’t even communicate to advise fans if it’s on or not

shame on them

they should know if it’s being postponed

they should communicate asap

It could be OK. No doubt they'll of put more holes in, if there's a breaking the rain at all today then it could be OK. If it rains heavy during then that's a problem at the rain mounts up in the surface its not getting time to soak away.

The forecast I've seen is light rain between 09.45 and 10.45 otherwise clear all day.

It was atrocious most of the night.

SHOULD be ok you'd have thought, but then again there shouldnt have been a problem on Saturday.

The fact this game and the last are in any doubt at all show there's a major problem and will just keep re occurring until fixed.

The pitch was OK on Saturday it was the amount of water on it that caused the abandonment. As long as the water has drained away I don’t think there will be a problem. But then I’m not a groundsman LOL

Whether (geddit?) or not the match goes ahead, one thing is almost certain: that the uncertainty will mean the attendance is likely to be among the lowest in the modern era. Sub 8,000 is my prediction, though of course the official figure will be higher.

The resident statto wildesdenover will provide the relevant figures in due course.

The second to last thing this club want is this game not to go ahead

The last thing they want is for the game to be abandoned halfway through

I would not put it past the club to be eering on the side of postponement to save themselves the hassle of a pissed off fan base

Agree with all other posters - turnout is going to be shocking. If you were Oxford, why bother? If you're Rovers, stay in the warmth and throw a few beers in the fridge

This is what Venkys FC looks like chaps. A thoroughly unpleasant product with a careless board and a budget you couldn't run a doggy day care on properly. I'll say it again - £6m in infrastructure investment in 15 years. It is no surprise things are creaking. 400,000 a year on the Rovers estate is survival money only. It paints over the cracks, gets some filler in and throws some lovely foam into areas they want to patch up. It does not improve

I would say that after witnessing the last 15 years, if there is one thing nobody at the club cares about, it's a pissed off fanbase.
