Be honest Rev. There's nobody else in the squad.

Too negative at the start.

Start with Cantwell and Baradji then take them off after an hour.

Pretty dire stuff but didn’t deserve to lose and should have won with the decent chances we had. The positives are that the match finished (not always assured at Ewood park and it was a shocking spectacle) and we didn’t lose or concede with the last touch again. Oxford not getting 3 points on our patch is important I suppose. Other than that it was a turgid affair with two poor teams who look like they will be in the relegation mix.

This.

Ismael rarely doesn't use all of his subs but tonight used just three. Two of which were at half time. This demonstrates surely the lack of depth.

He doesn't rate Pickering clearly. Gueye is shite. Henriksson isn't starting in front of Miroshita or Cantwell. The other three are youth players.

Not a fan of Ismael, but certainly wouldn't want his job at the moment.

Tavares did ok for me. Can't blame any player tonight because the team is down to the bare bones. Ohashi looked good first half. No-one played really badly. They played as well as they can do.

If you have better quality players around you, you're game really improves. When all of you are average you all play an average to poor game.

It's what most of us knew before the season started tbf. As soon as injuries and suspensions hit we would be cooked, because we have nothing useful in reserve.

Expecting Gueye to be replaced in January, and hopefully Pickering as he's not getting any time on the pitch any time soon.

Signing Forshaw was clearly a mistake too, he's not been fit all season. Some big calls have to be made but I'm sure they'll blame the pitch.

He's put that squad together, if he doesn't rate many of them it's on him.

Utter garbage yet again. VI is lucky that we're a shambles of a club otherwise his home record would come under a lot more scrutiny. Not good enough.

Fortunately for him he's at a club where results and performances don't matter.

Think a lot of it was down to Gestede, but unlike JDT & JE he has stood by without questioning. Lets see how he values his managerial career in the second half of the season, its getting to around that time of year our managers become outspoken and Ismael seems the type to let his feelings be known.

It was a six-pointer, one we dared not lose and we didn't.

So some impetus for Saturday. its going to be a long season.

I think we tried, we were the better side but have to take our chances and we're sorely missing Tronstad/Forshaw.

Well yes and know. He might have put that team together but I assume he would argue he'd done his best with the means available to him.

Also, letting so many tried and tested players go to other clubs is what really diminished the squad and that process was outside his control.

Not a supporter of his by any means but the dice were loaded against him.

Surely you know that he hasn't put that squad together. Recruitment hasn't worked like that at any club for the last decade. There is a whole department that deals with that side of things.

If team morale drops

Im not sure morale is that good.

How many times have we served it up to the opposition from the first whistle this season at Ewood?

Once maybe v Ipswich?

It usually works by Committee with the Head Coach being presented with a list of players to choose from and him having the final say.

He knew that was going to happen when he signed up for the gig and his £600k p.a.

It can't be used as an excuse on his behalf, he's fully complicit.

Morishitas recovery pace was pretty good tonight. Definitely took a leaf out of Ohashis book.

Pears didn't have much to do, nor did theirs.

Baradji would look like he's got a bit of a shot on him. Definitely more to come there.

Tavares looked of the pace at times scanning for a pass without even moving his feet - la la land.

Cantwell made things happen when he came on so needs to start in future
