Match Preview Rovers v Charlton.

Rovers go into tomorrow’s Premier League game against Charlton Athletic on a high after Monday nights 4-0 defeat of Fulham. Charlton in contrast go into the game on the back of last weekends 6-1 mauling by Leeds United.

Whilst Alan Curbishly will be concidering changes to his team, in order to regain confidence, with a virtually injury free squad, expect Graeme Souness to line up with  the same team that started at Loftus Road. Rovers only injury worry being Northern Ireland International, Keith Gillespie, who picked up an ankle injury against Fulham.

Predicted Team.

Friedel,

Neill  Berg, Short, Gresko,

Dunn, Tugay, Flitcroft, Duff,

Sukur, Cole.

With the partnership between Hakan Sukar and Andy Cole developing, and Sukar having opened his goal scoring account for Rover, this should be an entertaining attacking game, however, whether they can match last seasons corresponding fixture, when Rovers came away 4-1 victors, with goals from Tugay, Cole, Hignett and Jansen, is another matter.

With local Easter fixtures against Manchester United and Bolton, Rovers have reduced admission ticket, to all areas, for this game, £10 adults and £5 for seniors / juniors.
