Blackburn defenders Craig Short and Lorenzo Amoruso are both hoping to be fit in time for the up and coming Cup games.

Amoruso is aiming to be fit for next weeks UEFA Cup return leg against Genglerbirligi, whilst Short is targeting the Carling Cup match against Liverpool at the end of the month.
