  1. Wasn't he one of the lads that had the same agent as JDT ? Now he's getting even less of a sniff than before, make of that what you will.
  2. I don't agree with flexi tickets etc as good as they might sound to some it's self inflicting even lower turn outs actually in the ground for a lot of games. Only way it works is a good discount on full ST early birds, some kind of attractive offer for lapsed / newbies and kids then sell as many as you can. Then you can look the database and perhaps come up with something to try and get the irregulars to be more regular.
  3. That's the argument against Waggot though maximising the guaranteed cash grab before trying to maximise as much home advantage as possible. Neither end was very vocal until they went 3-1 up then it was loud understandably whilst the rest were in stunned silence at the shit they were witnessing. If he thought for 1 min Coventry would guarantee 6 or 7k at full price then full price it would be.
  4. The 'timing' of all those court hearings has been just perfect enough to impede the football club. Another monumental Venky coincidence.
  5. The latter definitely as at cheap tickets they'll not want to go to any extra expense of stewards and police etc. If it was full price they'd be given as many as they wanted.
  6. When you turn your first team squad into a development squad at Championship level with the only aim to stay up and sell players then who can be surprised this is where it leads ? You reap what you sow and the main issue has been individual bad mistakes and the only thing as consistent as that is Sammies goals. They are the only thing that has kept us from complete disaster up until now and along the way one or two other senior pros who have been trying to carry the can have dropped off badly down to the level this stupid new 'model' has taken us. All alright upstairs though because we've raked in 25 million in sales to rescue the owners blushes so the execs are blue eyed boys in India, bonuses and hampers all round. Downgrade continues in summer one way or another.
  7. If someone is paying you 300k a year plus perks for a part time gig you'll tend to portray they are wonderful because to you they are. To most others they are to running this illustrious old club what Eddie Edwards was to Olympic Ski jumping.
  8. Hide in the shadows and give the impression it's nothing to do with you when it's exactly the opposite. This guy is the 'Operations Manager' that is on the official site so what is he operating. the whole club ? Time for answers is long overdue.
  9. Phillips was happy to trade becoming an established first teamer here in a side that finished 7th with the prospect of getting many games/experience and a big money move down the line. Instead it was double or treble the wages, a London penthouse and a loan to Plymouth. Forget him, he'll still be plodding around the loan market in the Championship next season and probably the season after. It was all on him and his agent.
  10. I'd like to think the only way he's dodgy is in the eyeballs but that lowlight reel is grim. If you're going to purposely let one in though there are less obvious ways than Sundays howler.
  11. We've already blow 800k plus add ons probably on Leo so the chances of any keeper changes are virtually zero i'm afraid. The only chance was when Pears was doing ok earlier under Eustace he might have caught the attention of another Champ club who want an English keeper in their squad for a modest fee. That would've freed up a wage and position but i dread t think who Broughton would've foisted on us next, most likely Leo !!!
  12. We continue the Waggot Venky express train to be the new Crewe of League 1. Income targets reduced and easier to hit. Wage budget and matchday expense reduced and easier to manage with less from India. Academy downgrade and merged with first team on one site - cheaper and easier to manage. Pathway to first team squad easier for more players. Less big money sales but more quicker cheaper ones with add ons to Championship clubs. Ta ta DoF in cost saving measure but CEO and Shadow remain in well paid part time work running it all.
  13. A brainless one seeing as Coventry are likely to be pushing a result or at least just celebrating another good season and having a party in their last away fixture. Roll up roll up to the Ewood red carpet Sky Blues, if you're lucky you might get gifted a goal or two as well.
