No mudslinging and no ridiculous picture-cropping, children.

Thought this deserved its own thread. In 23 days Rovers have twelve players out of contract who will be free to make an agreement with foreign clubs to join them on a free in September 2021. These include - Lewis Holtby Ryan Nyambe Bradley Dack (club have a 12 month option to activate) Joe Rothwell Joe Rankin Costello See LancsLive article here with, IMO, some very concerning quotes from Mowbray: https://www.lancs.live/sport/football/football-news/blackburn-rovers-contracts-update-mowbray-19419343 How on earth have we got in a situation where we ca

It's obviously a bit early for Rovers but I thought it worth mentioning Chorley's "plum" tie in Round 1 away at Wigan. They must stand a chance there and maybe even TV coverage. Although I suspect that FC United v Doncaster is probably a banker there.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55413489 Just been reading this, with this new strain of the virus doing the rounds do you think they should maybe suspend the football season for a month or so before it settles down? (If it settles down?) I fear league one and two especially could be thrown into chaos over the next few weeks with positive testing.

Merry Christmas to Fans of the Rovers all over the world. Southern Ontario is bracing for lots of snow Christmas Eve, so Santa should be able to bring guaranteed promotion, no problem...😎

7 years to the day since the imposter left, as we continue to endure his rotten legacy. Well done and thanks to the “1%” who never gave up fighting and maintained the conditions which ultimately forced him out. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/19736471 https://amp.theguardian.com/football/2012/sep/28/steve-kean-resign-blackburn-rovers We won’t be rid of his stench until we are back in the PL but having worried that he would never go, the relief on 29th September 2012 was palpable. Never forgive, never forget.

Sad to hear today that George Sharples has passed away aged 77. He was one of my earliest memories of a player in the late sixties. He had blond/silver, receding hair and buzzed about a lot. Played wing half (in old money, midfield in decimal) and I think we signed him from Everton. Condolences to his family and friends. RIP George

So looks like theres no away days next season... and huge competition over seats. Do we know if the club will prioritise season ticket holders or they getting shafted? https://fanbanter.co.uk/the-number-of-fans-who-could-be-let-into-efl-stadiums-next-season/

https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2020/august/welkom-thomas/ Rovers are delighted to announce the signing of KAA Gent goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski for an undisclosed fee. The 27-year-old, who becomes the first Belgian footballer in the club’s history, has signed a two-year deal, with the option of a further 12 months. Kaminski, who has almost 300 career appearances and Champions League experience under his belt, started out at Beerschot AC in his homeland, making his professional debut in the Belgian top flight at the age of just 16.

The Ryan Nyambe Appreciation Thread
blueboy3333 posted a topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2018/september/a-to-z-ryan-nyambe/ A Q&A with the delightful young man, and world-class full back, who goes by the name of Ryan Nyambe (or RyNy to his friends). My only gripe (apart from him being a Manure fan) is the following answer to the question 'what is the strangest thing you've seen': "There’s quite a few strange things. I remember driving in Wythenshawe one night and just saw a guy laying with his bike. It was late at night and I remember thinking it was a bit odd!" I think he'd fallen off Ryan and you were meant to ring for an ambu -

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55152637 And so it begins... something for the European Scouting network to get its teeth into! Best of luck to them I say! Could be good for homegrown youngsters mind you.

Lewis Holtby situation has been referenced in the Summer Transfer Window thread, but as we're no longer in that window, and these is a bit of an 'odd one out' I feel as though it deserves its own thread. Yesterday Holtby was on the move, catching a flight to who knows where. How does everyone feel about his potential arrival?
