  2. Can anyone please help me? I'm looking for the row and seat numbers for the groups of ten seats situated directly above the exits from the seating to the concourse in the Darwen Lower. Odd request, I know, but it's to get the best tickets for an away supporter who is partially sighted. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  3. Hi Everyone, Does anyone have a 94/95 shirt they’d be willing to sell — stipulation being it has to be collected today? Alternatively does anyone have a new and unused shirt from this season for sale? Send me a DM if you do!
  4. Whatever happened to the official rovers forum that was on rovers.co.uk? must of been 10 years or more since i was on it and it doesnt seem to be about anymore?
  5. I tend to assume that the loons in Pune will continue to get the green light for sending funds over, unfortunately keeping the circus going for a good while longer. There's also no doubt that they'll reduce the amount of funds they send, after recent earnings. We've just got a guaranteed £18m for Wharton, £500k for Ennis and have ~£4m coming in from the Raya sale in the summer. So that'll be ~£22.5m in total... before we flog anyone else. Looking ahead to the summer: Ben Chrisene, Billy Koumetio, Yasin Ayari, and Andrew Moran will return to their parent clubs. Plus, the short-term contracts of Kyle McFadz and John Fleck will be up. Trav and Vale will be coming back. At a normal Club, Eustace would be properly backed after receiving income like that - but as we all know, this is far from a normal Club... In your opinion, will Eustace have some cash to play with in the summer, or not?
  6. You may have noticed the "Rogue Cookie Issue Fix" message at the top of the site...or you may not (!) either way - here's a pdf which hopefully provides some guidance as to how to do what you need to do to remove the rogue cookie that has been causing mischief... Apologies for the inconvenience...hope it helps...🙏 So you need to clear site specific cookies 1.1.pdf
  7. How do I go about volunteering to paint the unloved wood in the upper tier of the Jack walker stand. I will supply the brush and paint / my time for free. Photo taken this weekend at the QPR game.
  8. 2 spare tickets (seated together) for the Alan Shearer event at King George's Hall on 9th Feb. Happy to sell seperately or together. Paid £40 each, but will accept £20 each. PM if interested 👍
  9. Hi there, just hoping somebody on here could help with the online ticketing system. I’m having trouble buying a ticket for the Wrexham game, I’ve registered an account and tried to purchase tickets but keep getting an error message saying “Unfortunately, one or more items in your basket is assigned to a newly registered client, which is not allowed”. Can anyone advise on why it’s being such a pain to get a ticket. For clarity, neither me or my friend support Blackburn or Wrexham, we’ve been trying to get around the 92 grounds and cup games are a good opportunity to go to random matches that might be interesting, would be a bit out of my way to travel to the ground just to visit the ticket office. Thanks in advance for any help.
  10. Hello all, I’ve started this thread to discuss protest ideas so those in support can start taking positive action against the current state of the club and owners Venky’s & CEO Steve Waggott. Their short sighted and non-sensical business decisions are slowly killing BRFC from the inside out and it cannot be allowed to go on. As fans we’re the only ones with the best interests of Blackburn Rovers Football Club at heart 💙🤍🌹 Aims of the Protest Movement 1. The ultimate aim is for Venky’s to sell the club to new owners who are present, communicate with the fans and have the best interests of the club & fans at heart AND the community it is part of. 2. The initial aim is to voice the growing frustration of the fan base & for the current CEO Steve Waggott to start communicating with us and to be open & transparent about the ongoing financial issues and resultant inability to recruit the quality & number of players we need to progress as a club. 3. If there is no response from the club to the initial aims, the protest will enter its next stage, ideas below: Ideas Further ideas would be welcomed on how to take this forward. There were the first rumblings in the Blackburn End v Huddersfield with the “Venky’s Out” chant but we need more co-ordinated action for the owners & CEO to really sit up and listen. They’ve had a far too easy ride up until now. Some ideas I’ve had already: 1. Protest with banners/sign reveal and singing on 18 & 75 minutes during a league game. This could be as simple as downloading the below image onto your phone or iPad & holding it up as well as home made banners, signs and the like for those who want to. 2. A Reading style pitch invasion and sit down protest during a game. This would be a last resort currently. 3. Printing of t-shirts and a full on march style protest ending up at the Jack Walker statue before a League home game Any further and even more innovative ideas would be welcomed…. Venky’s & Waggott…were comin’ for you!
  11. Lets vote on this critical topic to gauge opinion. Now a realistic prospect. Some will see it as a new beginning (next Bolton) whilst some will be terrified it could be the end (next Bury). Poll above.
  12. Following on the doggy in the window post .. a bit of light heartedness to break the crap up... Rovers players related to animals.. Roy Waggly
  13. I have uncovered a signed shirt, and I believe it’s from the 11/12 season 😭😅 Can you name the signatures on it? No prizes, just a bit of fun (playing fast and loose with that definition). Yes, he who must not be named is on there…
  14. Hi, Due to a change in our travel plan we can not visit the fa cup match vs Cambridge united anymore. We have 10 tickets for sale face value 100 pounds. Im happy to help somebody out so not all of the money is required. You can contact via email, Jop Boeijkens
  15. Hey all, I know that it is an expensive time of year, but I'm involved in a charity drive as part of my work and, as it has a bit of a Blackburn Rovers theme, I thought that this would be a good place to share it. As part of my work with UNESCO we are having a little bit of an internal fundraising challenge to get money for sports equipment and kits for a network of schools that we work with in developing countries. As part of that challenge, each of us has taken on the goal of getting as much kit and equipment relating to the club that we support as possible. As the only Rovers supporter, I am at a serious disadvantage, but it would be great to be able to send some Rovers kit and merchandise off as part of the project. Most of the donations have been in cash so far, but here's a link to the PayPal fundraising drive. Donations of any amount are always appreciated and I'll keep everyone updated once the project really gets going. https://www.paypal.com/pools/c/90prfl7oVk
  16. Received today. Had it delivery to Mother’s, so give me something to read over Christmas when I visit. Thanks to all involved. PS It’s pretty big…
  17. Is it just me or is it my perception that we seem to have let in way more last minute goals than we have scored? I can think of very few last minute goals for us. But we always seem to concede them. Even going back to 1994/95. We conceded a few last minute goals that season. The only last minute goal I remmeber was at Coventry and Old Trafford but it was disallowed. This and last season seems to be full of last minute conceded goals. Cant think of any for us off the top of my head.
  18. I’ve been given a nicely framed aerial photo of the new Ewood Park. Taken at an angle from over the Jack Walker stand. It used to be in “ The Bull’s Head “ in Smallbridge, Rochdale. It measures 22” x 18”. It’s going free to the first taker. It must be picked up from my home in Rochdale. A good Xmas gift for someone.
  19. Like, I was trying to watch Vs. Stoke away match yesterday. I tried to sign in with my CORRECT Email, and CORRECT Password(I can sure that is correct cause the iphone and my browser saved my password automatically.) But, It says; "Incorrect username or password" for over god damn 5 times! Yep I failed to watch the match yesterday, I bought 300$ roverstv season pass for watch it(I live in south korea. South korean rover ye?) and Rover.co.uk annoyed me again! I sent mail to Enquiries@rovers.co.uk, for question for what should I do now, and Like, you know. I would be typed wrong password. so yes, I tried the reset password option on sign in page. THE REASON WHY I CREATED THE TOPIC ON HERE IS... THE CODE, WASN'T ON MY EMAIL! YES THE VERIFICATION CODE WAS NOT COMING!!! My father failed to log in aswell, failed to get an verification mail for test too. So me and my father tried to create a new rovers account. The new rovers account that I and my father created, GOT THE VERIFICATION CODE VERY FAST you know how ridiculous this is. I wasted money on watching it tho Can Someone pls help me? what should I do now then??
  20. Afternoon all. This is a bit of a longshot (for "bit" read "massive"!!) but I'm travelling to Wigan for work the day we play each other at Ewood Park on 12th December. I was hoping to head to the match, but looking at the trains there isn't one that will take me from Blackburn to Wigan after the match unless I want to get there at 1am (Pretty sure most of our fans will be home before I make it 20 miles!) I was wondering if anyone on here would be driving in that general direction after the match who wouldn't mind dropping me off by Wigan North West train station. Obviously happy to chuck a bit of cash your way for the motion lotion, and I promise not to be a dick in the unlikely event that we win! I've followed City for 40 years, so know to never expect a positive result!!! Like I said, massive longshot, but I subscribe to the view of "You don't ask, you don't get". Thanks for taking the time to read and good luck for (most of) the rest of the season
  21. I am having trouble logging in to the rovers website and rovers tv. My computer shows a small message at the bottom right of the page saying I am logged in, but I'm not......This has been happening for the past couple of weeks. I generally use Safari, but have the same problem with Firefox. Has anyone else experienced similar problems?
  22. Interesting interview of one of my boyhood heros. Thanks for all the great memories in blue & white. All the best Mark!
  23. Hi all Anyone got that pic of Shearer and Sutton in the 96 kit at the launch (CIS Insurance sponsor) before Shearer moved to Newcastle? Thanks
  24. I’ve had a season ticket at Ewood ever since the early 90’s and have always gone to games with my dad and my son (who started coming with us in the mid 00’s) This season, however, my dad’s health has meant he has had to give up his season ticket and my son has gone off to uni so, at the age of 45, I’m suddenly finding myself in need of making some Rovers supporting friends to save the match-going experience becoming a frustrating/lonely one. Particularly, I wondered if there’s anyone on here from Rossendale (I live in Bacup) that would be interested in sharing lifts to and from Ewood?
  25. Hi All, You may remember me as the 'Safe Standing Roadshow' guy, and I'm pleased to have played a small part in getting standing back to several PL and EFL grounds - hopefully soon to Ewood Park as well. I'm also a bit of a German football nerd, so with the Euros coming up over there next summer, I've done a repeat of what I did for the World Cup in Germany in 2006 and put together a website as a guide for fans aiming to go to the tournament. It's very creatively called Euro 2024 in Germany. I hope you find it helpful and something to browse while there's no club football going on in the Championship. All feedback and questions very welcome. Ditto re any tips you think I should add to the site. Cheers, Jon Darch (BlagdonRed)
