  1. So he got more points in February than Tony Mowbray did , manager material?

  3. For me the list decreases by the week with other clubs taking action and making moves for managers that we should be interested in. Presumably we then get the buffoons online saying 'who can we get'? etc. when we've watched numerous good, sensible, available options all get snapped up elsewhere. In the last 12 months we could have had Warnock, McCarthy, Pearson, Cowley, Bowyer, Cook, Ismael, Hughton and others who would all have done better here than Mowbray is/has done. Right now the obvious sensible options are very limited. I'd investigate the Hughes one but would tread carefully

  4. 17 points for Dack on his licence. 17 points for Rovers in 2021 so far. Can't Mowbray be banned from managing for 12 months?

  6. I noticed that when the article was first published - one man's 'jam" is another man's bribe. Says it all when an attempt has to be made to pay off the villagers to accept it and the application can't be left to stand or fall purely on its merits. So basically almost everyone could receive some benefit from this tawdry scheme, developers, planners, PR agencies, local residents and anyone else in between. Everyone that is apart from the Club who would lose a substantial part of their infrastructure which we then can't fall back on in future if really needed when we no longer have mu

  7. See if you can guess who said this just over a year ago - “ We will not be cutting our armed forces in any form. We will be maintaining the size of our armed forces because we are increasing funding for them “.

  8. Dack wasn't banned for doing 68 in a 60 per se. He was banned under the totting up procedure. Typically, 11 points is the maximum allowed, and 12 points generally tips a motorist into a period of disqualification. Dack was on 14 points prior to his latest episode, which means that he seemingly avoided being banned on a previous occasion, probably by using a clever lawyer, lots of mitigation and a promise to be a good boy from now on etc. He is now theoretically on a whopping 17 points and a ban is entirely warranted. I assume your "rozzers" comment was a somewhat light hearted,

  11. Proper salesman patter that Senior email but that's what the likes of him are around for. Not their knowledge but their forked tongues and brass necks. In reality he'll have had very little to do with the appointment of Mowbray other than being told to spin it. TM was the standout candidate ........ on the HSH list that Madame, Balaji had presented to them by the middleman/chauffer/goffer, oh and director.

  12. Maybe the pro All Under One Roofers could start their own movement or something to counter the rest of us ? You know, passionately state your own personal cases for it instead of being Waggot echo chambers. Sod the residents of Brockhalls feelings on it obviously. The Coventry 3's words must come first after all, i mean they've been so true to every one they've uttered in the past few years, they are full of great ideas !

  13. Yes, maybe it does. That being the case you could potentially try to win hearts and minds on here seeing as we're such a tough crowd and not representative of the majority view. Outline all the positives and we'll go from there.

  18. What problems are you seeing flagged? As far as I can see the summary of the US trials is: The trial showed the vaccine was 79 per cent effective at stopping symptomatic Covid-19 and 100 per cent effective at preventing people from falling seriously ill. There were no safety issues regarding blood clots, the trial showed And I've seen that rubber stamped in another article by Dr. Fauci, the US Covid-19 chief medical adviser who called it likely to be "a very good vaccine". Not sure what fake news you're attempting to pedal here. Or what link it has to the totall

  32. 68 is a 60 isn't Brand's Hatch type driving but to get to 14 points prior to that is a feat. His insurance premium must have been exorbitant. Dack is missing something upstairs. I'm sure that he narrowly missed out on prison a few years back because he kept missing court dates for a previous infraction. Mowbray was his star witness when he finally did turn up. Is it the trappings of privilege or is he just thick? It's a debate as old as professional sport; should players be role models. I say no, but they are on a pedestal and are treated as such.

  36. I think I’m with Sparks on this one. I find it hard to believe that a person renown for her grasp of detail could “ forget “ such an important meeting even if it was brief. I’m also surprised that just one man was given the job of investigating the allegations.

  37. I saw him a couple of times, a taller, better, Bradley Dack. He was one of the Stan Bowles, Tony Currie, Alan Hudson, Charlie George generation that were too “ unconventional “ to get more than a couple of caps. I liked to see players do things I could never do in a million years, those players never let you down. I read his autobiography a few years ago. His life will have definitely been lived to the full.

  40. Money? A shot at getting to the PL? Both of which we can offer more of than Braga, or at least should be able to with billionaire owners determined to get promoted. Dan Petrescu is another interesting one I'd be looking at. Just noticed he's left his job in Turkey after a short spell so is back on the market. Again would likely cost but vast experience and a good record.

  45. From what I've seen recently there is virtually no reticence to have the AZ vaccine amongst the good people of Bamber Bridge, Walton-le-Dale and Lostock Hall. Over the last week since the EU furore started I have called hundreds of patients to set up AZ vaccine clinics for Sunday and yesterday and hardly anyone asked which vaccine we were offering and no one refused. I had one or two people who didn't want a vaccine at all and one or two who had valid reasons for wanting to leave it for now but acceptance is running at over 99%. As I mentioned last week we were scrabbling around trying to
