  1. So just 14 hrs before kick off and we still don’t know if the game tomorrow will be on Rovers TV or not?? This is Blackburn Rovers we are taking about here, we are a big club. What the actual f#%^ is going on at this club? Wondering if Administration might be the best medicine, everything is wrong.

  3. Never had a season ticket in my life, lived 200 yards from the ground, born in a house 20 yards from the stands, played for their first ever centre of excellence(before Brockhall was a glint in Jack's eye), played for their A and B team, lived in nuttall Street, mate you don't have to go to the games regular to be a Rovers fan. How anyone can find this drab shit fun? Good luck to you lad.

  4. I used to be a season ticket holder for years but I stopped going about 9 years ago. I won't ever go again. I dont see any appeal to it at all. Even if it was a season ticket at man utd Liverpool Chelsea City etc I wouldn't go but I don't see any appeal whatsoever of wanting to watch rovers. There's literally zero excitement to it. Drab manager poor players etc. I can't get my head around why people find this exciting.

  5. Mowbray was yesterday's man in 2016 when he left Coventry City in ruins. He could hide behind bad ownership there and yet Mark Robins has worked under the same ownership and has hauled them to the same league and a better state than us with a fraction of the money. Mowbray's entire Christmases came at once getting this job. Sadly for us he's taking us the same way he was taking Coventry. Down and out. Same story too. Same issues, errors, gaps and negligence of key areas and aspects. I hope for all our sakes him and his chums are removed as quickly as possible.

  6. Mowbray should have been sacked, at least 2 years ago and somebody competent employed... The man is way out of his depth in this division , we are now on the cusp of another relegation , which like the last 2 should have been prevented... The Venkys inability to sack Kean , Coyle and now Mowbray will lead to the inevitable drop.. Ironically we play Bolton Wanderers tomorrow , if only we could have ditched the Venkys 3 years ago ..

  7. Mowbray should have been all over free transfers from January it’s as simple as that. The club knew they would not be strangled by a lasting embargo in June and more likely in the 6 months before so it cannot be held as an excuse or reason. The list of players available is pretty impressive there are players who would complement and improve the team so there are no excuses. The money we have saved in outgoings would easily cover wages because players know wage expectations are much lower than they have been in over 15 years. Its just a pitiful excuse for a stagnant set up run by incompetent people.

  8. Youngsters won the Lancashire cup tonight against a poor Wigan side. Very one sided. A couple of new faces on display. A massive centre back named Ash Phillips. Handle himself well, very suprise to learn that he turned 16 this year as he was a big filled Out unit. Charlie weston, midfielder, Just turned 17. Was on the bench for the first team in preseason. Really like the look on him. Accomplished two way midfielder with good passing. Probably going to be fast tracked to U23 like Garrett Last year.

  9. The forums latest upgrade added it so you can see what “level” you are. Ignore it - it’s nonsense.

  10. Agree 100 percent. I'm a headteacher, if Ofsted graded our club we'd have been in Special Measures moons ago. We'd also have a new enforced senior management team drafted in. Shame the EFL doesn't offer something similar...

  11. Spot on. There was no value whatsover in giving Downing, Evans et al game time towards the end of the season. Mowbray would have known that they were leaving. Pathetic.

  12. Welcome back Gav. Our kids are playing this year whether we sign 4 premier league loans or not, that much is clear. We have lost 11 players. The thing that pisses me off soo much is everyone at the club should have known this stripped back version of the transfer window was coming, and the kids should have been playing the last 4 games of last season to see who could hack it. Instead we had to watch Mowbray with his pathetic self preservation ploy. Sickening, and now we go into the Swansea game next week non the wiser. The whole senior management setup at the club is an absolute farce top to bottom.
