Radagast
Hmm. Not good news at all. Hopefully this won't end up being one of those injuries that runs on several weeks longer than initially diagnosed and eventually ends his season by the time he's match fit to play a top team game. Ozz
Really good article on the official site on Ryans operation and recovery. Quite graphic in his description of the procedure too. Looks a bit a grim for a xmas return though. Rovers Co UK

Ozz
I keep forgetting my name. Have you considered selenium and zinc supplements? From www.rovers.co.uk Ryan first sustained the injury in a league game with Everton at Ewood Park last December and despite playing a key role throughout the rest of the campaign, was unable to fully shake it off. The Kiwi defender then broke his leg away at Charlton in late April, but returned for pre-season fully rested and with a positive scan result to boot. But as the new season approached, Ryan admits that he perhaps didn't really give it sufficient time to heal and before long, his initially-torn hamstring attachment had become completely ripped from the bone. full story on the official site. Sorry guys, unless Lee says it's fine to cut and paste full articles, we can't do it.

G Somerset Rover
Thing is, Ryan's not only coming back from this injury-but he also broke his leg at Charlton didn't he? Only a small break-but still a break. Sorry for being pessimistic here, but it may take quite some time-if ever-before we see the Admiral back to his best. Edited October 13, 2006 by Somerset Rover! thenodrog
Damn! Thats a bollaxx! In hindsight it would have been a fantastic bit of business to have sold him to Arry's Pompey then wouldn't it?

G Somerset Rover
God I hope that this article is correct. IF he did recover his form of old, which he sounds confident of, then que another good run in the league as I said above.
