Calling Dwight Wille an ex-rover is a bit much, I'm pretty certain he was only here on loan, and from an affiliate for a look-see at that?

Yeah, I do understand that it's a bit extreme. However he did manage a few games with the Academy after joining Rovers on-loan from Cercle Brugge.

Great list!

If you don't mind, Could I put the list on my site data section?

Work away as long as the mods from here agree to it.

I have a feeling this would be impossible though, lol.!!

Further updates on players:

• Apologies about not adding Matt Jansen. I forgot to add him onto the unattached list as well, but maybe he could be on Carlisle as they are rumoured to be making a move for their former player.

Gary Croft has an offer from one club and is currently training with another. However he'll remain on the unattached list.

Ryan Robinson was loaned out to Southport, which ran out at Christmas 2006. I have a feeling that he could be still training with Morecambe even though he officially doens't have a squad number and his one-year extension to his contract expired on 27th June 2007.

• I have no futher sightings or info on Michael Taylor, so he'll have to join the unattached list as he currently isn't signed with Lancaster.

• Former striker Peter Thorne joins Bradford City on a free transfer.

Do we take academy players into consideration too? Former Rovers academy (2004-05) player, Finnish U19-midfielder Toni Kolehmainen plays for AZ Alkmaar in Dutch Eredivisie. Or most probably in the youth / reserve / second team setup (or whatever it's called there).

Reports today say Sutton has called it a day due to eyesight problem.

Despite him jumping ship, I always liked him. The best goal he NEVER scored was the three move goal against Arsenal, Flowers to Sutton to Gallacher, Gally puts it past Seaman, classic!

Wolverhampton Wanderers- Darren Potter

I never realised that he was once on our books.

How did we end up letting him go? He seems a very promising young player, certainly one that would be on the fringes of our first team.

This is fantastic work ! Keep it going guys.

If would be brilliant if so somebody (Groo ? FLB ? Dillo ?) would volenteer to update this info on the new wiki we're working on. In that form it'll be far more easy to both read and update.

Won't everybody be able to edit the wiki? As long as info is posted in here then it only takes one person to transfer it over. Surely the idea of a wiki is to have a collective responsibility to update and edit things, rather than lump it on to one individual.

Hi Glenn,

Yeah I will assist with this duty if needed. I've always had a strong interest knowing where all the former Rovers have ended up. BTW I'm not some kind of stalker, but this spiralled out from finding out about all past Rovers from Northern Ireland. As Le Chuck stated, maybe a few people could contribute to this.

Will keep a note of any further upates and do another release later this month:-

Micheal Holt is now a Police Officer in Accrington.
