So Ossy the eastern extremity of the John Bull… unless anyone can volunteer an Accy chippy?

Not that I know of.

Can't remember where I got them from, maybe mill hill. Was a long time ago.

Those "slices of potato", they're called dabs by the way.

We had dabs but they were said slices battered and fried. That's it.

They weren't good either. The potato was always too hard.

Does anyone know what is happening at the Nabs Head, Samlesbury? We went there a few weeks ago. It was a bit strange but the beer was ok and the food was good.

Then it closed down again for some reason. Yesterday I read somewhere that it was due to open again in August. What is going on?

I've not lived locally for many years now, but the Nabs Head was a staple for us, run by Michael, a Rovers fans, who used to manage The Royal Oak at Riley Green before branching out himself.

No idea what has happened to the pub, we were thinking about dropping in last season after the Norwich game but it never happened due to a crash on M6.

Only re-opened on the 12th May.

Been to 3 old favourites this weekend whist in West Midlands, the pocket has taken a bit of a hit, but hey ho, or ho ho ho:

Game pie was amazing.

The seafood is outstanding, 5 minutes from Brum fish market!

Went for brunch (Whatever that is) but great any time of the day.

I was in the big city last night (Sheffield) for drinks at Public and seafood at Native.

First of all it was Public, which used to be a public toilet back in the day, now doing table service of amazing cocktails, bring the plastic though as its not cheap, but the quality and range of the drinks was superb:

Then we had a table booked at Native, one of only a handful of Seafood restaurants in the city. Our group loved the place on the whole, Lobster, Crab, Turbot, Scallops, Bream and Gurnard on offer, but its was insanely expensive for me. Turbot £32, king of fish I get that, but it came with a sauce and nothing else. Starters all £13+ - I don't mind spending money on food, but it just seemed a bit over the top for me, but I will go back as what was served was excellent.

Was Coyley in?

Haha, I’ve never actually seen him in there thankfully!

Seen Faz a few times, though.
