I can see where this thread is heading, so I'll ask you early.

What do you think of Venky's? Still got the best interests of the club at heart? Should Kean still be manager?

Should the manager get no dissent?

Is sitting on your hands while the club crashes making you a better supporter than those trying to engineer changes for the good of the club?

I did not see any support for venkys or Kean in ewood sparks post. Just somebody who wants his team to win.

But that is considered wrong these days.

I have NO SUPPORT FOR VENKYS OR KEAN. But always want the team to win.

It has been said that Mrs D is digging her heals in against the banks demands for.£10mill.to.be.paid into the accounts before the new year.

Cannot help thinking she has the same attitude to the protests. She will just dig her heals in.

It is venkys we need to get rid of. Kean would also go. Sadly we do not have a suitable new owner available or interested.in.the club.

A poster wants his team to win, yet gets slated for it.

Eh? Where is he being slated for wanting the team to win?

He is being slated for his usual attitude and general WUMing.

ES is one of those fans that has two stock answers 'get behind 'em' and 'I'll be there if we are in non league'.

For me, support is not blindly following those that are driving 'the club' into the ground just because they happen to wear club training gear, but doing whatever you can to drive the bad apples out.

So go on ... point out the posts where I have been pro-Kean. The last comment I have made on these boards relating to Kean was that I thought he would be potted after the Spurs game. As for Venky's ... just suppose you woke up on Christams morning and Santa had answered your prayers and forced Venky's to pull-out ....What do you suppose would happen then? Hate to burst your bubble but there is no knight in shining armour waiting in the wings ... we have to play with the hand we have been dealt.

We are going absolutely nowhere, much like Kean.

Normal owners who cared an ounce about THEIR football club would not have allowed this situation to go on as long as it has.

By shouting down (or whatever 'intimidation' tactics you think you are being so clever to employ) you ARE supporting both Kean and Venkys. By creating this thread you ARE supporting both Kean and Venkys. Why can't you see this?

You and people like you have been described as 'proper fans' by Kean. BY KEAN FFS! He is using you as examples of the support that he and Venkys are receiving towards 'what they are trying to do'.

In my view, they are 'trying to do' something which is impossible on our budget, together with an incompetent manager: bring in young players, develop them and sell them on.

If they removed Kean and replaced him with a competent manager, then yes, let's play with the hand we are dealt. But they aren't. They have loaded the deck and are currently setting about emotionally bankrupting every single member of Ewood casino.

Given the gambles they are taking in both scouting for diamonds in the rough and gambling with the clubs (not their) future, a casino is a very apt metaphor from a number of angles.

WAKE UP EWOOD SPARK!!!!

Agreed giving abuse to those protesting is also wrong. But read the mood of this thread. If your not protesting, it means you are in support of venkys and Kean. Which is not true.

After the WBA match, I was.outside the players entrance of the JW STAND with others. About 200 people. During the match I got behind the team.

That is where I differ with protestors.

I never want Rovers to lose any match. Even worse to local rivals. I do not want them to take a single point off Rovers.

All ewood spark is asking / suggesting is for 90min get SOLELY behind the players. Then protest afterwards, maybe outside the JW again.

But the general responce to those not involved in protests is they are pro-venkys.& Kean. They get slated, abused for having a different approach to protesting.

Definition of Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Albert Einstein

I have deliberately avoided this forum for the last couple of months, but felt I needed to express the following opinion.

If I were a Bolton Wanderers fan at Ewood tonight the first thing I would do on entering the ground is start a chant of 'Kean out'.  Get the home fans to become the twelth man for YOUR side. This tactic worked a treat for West Brom fans on Saturday ... and our fans fell hook line and sinker for it. Once the chants started we suddenly became like a team of Keith Andrews in the Spurs home game last season  (when he had the temerity to come on as a substitute and was booed from his entry on the field by the less cerebral of our so-called-support).  In the same way players can become inspired by great support they can also become disenchanted by booes and cat-calls. These may be directed solely at the manager ... but the poisonous atmosphere that ensues is indiscriminate in it's targets.

Tonight, other clubs fans will be gleefully watching Sky with a morbid curiosity to watch Blackburn Rovers self-implode .... let's not afford them the satisfaction. So for ninety minutes put aside your hatred of the manager and remember what we all have in common. The question everybody should ask themselves is 'Do I hate Steve Kean mare than I love Blackburn Rovers?'

The question(s) you should ask yourself is 1)What credibility do you have after selling yourself to the Venky's propaganda machine for a free trip?

2)Why has organized protests coincided with the only wins of the season?

If you're not a part of the cure, you're a part of the disease. Essentially, you are trying to help a potential "silent" assassination of the club by allowing Kean to tell his masters (and your masters?) that protests have stopped and 99% of fans are behind him (licking his arse).

Some of the very worst performances have come when there has been barely any protests at all. With the greedy bald snake at the helm the only way is down, regardless of whether there are protests or not. The players can obviously not speak out against him, but judging from their performance on Saturday, I think it's safe to say that they want him out as well.

Considering the way Kean has treated the fans, he only has himself to blame for the bad atmosphere. A man with a bit of self-respect would have walked by now, but Kean instead chooses to drag the club further and further down towards oblivion with his incompetence. He also comes across as a horrible human being, which doesn't help either.

Posting this diatribe then calling others 'less cerebral'?!? The irony.

The question YOU need to ask yourself is, "do I value 3 points tonight over remaining in the Premier League?"

We win tonight, Kean stays and takes us down - guaranteed. It's plain to see we're only heading one way under his stewardship.

We lose, and Venky's might just see the light, remove him and install an actual manager, thereby increasing our chances of staying up. Assuming the three shaved chimps in Pune have the balls & nous to do the right thing, the best result for the club tonight is a crushing defeat.

Some people are just too stupid to see the bigger picture. Unbelievable.

He was wrong for giving out the abuse. But it is equally wrong giving him abuse and threats back. Two wrongs do not make a right.

But his original post was about a different approach to the situation. How come there.was only about 200 outside the JW STAND after WBA match. That area should have been packed with supporters.

Putting aside the abuse from all sides.of the debate. As it just causes dibsion and.tensions.

Anybody should be permitted to put forward a different approach. Do any of us really want to get beat by our local rivals. So I suggest get behind the team for 90min. Then gather outside JW STAND - no matter the result.

Maybe also again on Wednesday.for the board meeting.

If ewood spark is reading this thread. You need to appologise for the abuse given.out. As I also.had to do, not so long ago. Understand your view point about supporting.the team.

No he isn't only asking to back the team , he's being a knob and waving his mouse by slagging yellow bellied tremblers .

Abbey I have said he is wrong.to give out the abuse.

This situation is really starting to create an awful atmosphere around the club and in the fan base.

Its at times like this you need a strong leader who we can all look to. Its time for the one remaining leader still at the club we all trust to say or do something. If the admiral was to come out against kean that would give the fans someone to rally behind. Its probably not as simple as it sounds.

I don't know whats best for rovers anymore, win and we are stuck with kean and lose and we are just getting closer and closer to the drop.

For what its worth I don't think protesting is having much of an effect on the players. They know its not directed at them.

No protest can make any difference to our fate this season. We are going down. Getting rid of Kean now and appointing a good manager (if we can find one) would restore some unity and self-respect and indicate that Venkys had some sort of discernment

which might help us in the future.

In summary------let it rip! Revenge time.

Well I feel sheepish :(

I understand your point Spark but feel its beyond that now, situation is beyond repair and a resolution is needed.

I'm not a fan of yellow and black nor organised protests I've said that all along but I feel we have to vent when the time calls.

Out of interest I would be keen to know your feelings towards our plight rather than your feelings on how to approach it

Protesting before or after a game is having no impact.. The venkys are not here and cannot see it. However during a live sky game....

PAFELL, although you've quoted my post I'm going to assume your comments aren't aimed at me as I haven't abused or threatened anyone.

You are also wrong about 'the mood of the thread that everyone who doesn't protest' is Pro-Kean. It's people who are shouting down and abusing those who ARE protesting at games who ARE pro-Kean/Venkys. There's no other way to see it!

However you are almost right. The mood IS getting worse, and it looks like it will continue as long as Kean is still employed by Rovers and still spouting off at press conferences about having the owners' full support.

You would, having defended him! I'm prepared to believe that he was the puniest of the Puny 9 ( and the rest of you did a whole lot better).

Funny you should ask ... one of the 'yellow-bellies' turned-up in the seat in front on Saturday ... needless to say he didn't come back for the second half.

More significant that you lost your bottle in Pune-------by your own account.

No ... let's just say he looked uncomfortable when his lone rantings were drowned out.

Were you sat in the home dug out?

Seriously, you seem to be using the kean book of excuses, every time we lose. Poor squad, clueless manager.

Perhaps, if those people you met over in Pune, actually communicated with the supporters and told the truth, there wouldn't be as much frustration on matchday. It has been left as the only place/time that fans can get a message across.

Finally, I suggest you grow a pair. I sit with the mother n law up in the BBE. She's followed Rovers for 45 years and is most certainly a 'trembler' and I'll tell you what, you wouldn't scare her off with your "don't protest," name calling ramblings.

I have as much right to protest at Kean as others have to keep stum; I also have the right to back the team vocally as find fit. To this end the best chant going around the more passionate areas of Ewood at the moment is 'Barmy Army Kean Out Barmy Army Kean Out etc. This nicely encapsulates the sentiments of the protesters-even the thickest media pundit or the most sensitive precious member of the team cant take umbrage at this.

What of the players who have had it with Kean-hardly going to make their feeling known to the fans when the Brilliant One is watching from the Dug Out? They know the lie of the land and will not be in the slightest disheartened by the Kean Out chants and even his greatest fan Roberts seems to have kept his spirits up; judging by how relaxed he was laughing and joking on Five Live shortly after the Baggies match. Compare his mood with the fans that evening and you have a perfect example of what is so rotten with our club.

I will be protesting against Kean and supporting the team in equal measure tonight-this is my way of expressing passion and concern for the future of BRFC. If those around me choose not to I respect their views-wrong though they are-then that, too, is their right. I certainly wont be haranguing them or worse- shame on the thugs who are out to cause trouble amongst their own fans( I wonder if they even actually are Rovers fans at all).

I wont be returning to Ewood until The Impostor Kean has gone ('thank f 'I hear the anti protesters say) so tonight is my last chance to shout and chant for all that I believe in and grieve for all that has been lost these last dreadful 12 months.Bring it on.

Love Rovers, Hate Kean & Venkys.

Stop being sheep, do what you want and don't worry about what anyone else is doing as it's none of your business.

All I will say, as I don't think venky is very good for the club, is if you support the manager or owners make it known. You might as well support them now as you may well not have a club to support in 2-3 years time.

Funny you should ask ... one of the 'yellow-bellies' turned-up in the seat in front on Saturday ... needless to say he didn't come back for the second half.

The last 2/3 years have been very strange with huge divisions between Rovers fans.

For this 'fan' to be crowing about threatening another Rovers fan and spoiling his enjoyment purely because he has a different view.... :angry2: What a t.i.t.

Ewood Spark, when we are relegated, people like you will still blame the fans. I've not heard a peep of dissent coming out of Bolton. What's their excuse?

And what exactly were you told/offered in Pune to make you so staunchly pro-Kean and pro-Venkys - even now.

I can't believe you 'represent fans' in meetings with the club. You just sound like an employee, towing the company line.

Ahhh...one of the Pune travellers! This thread makes a lot more sense now. Has your suntan faded yet?

Are you actually bragging about making another human being feel so uncomfortable that they had to leave something they had paid for, simply because they had a different opinion to yourself?

Sorry mate but that makes you a total pr*ck.

Until the protests are directed at Mrs D. I would be surprised if venkys do anything.

I cannot understand why the pune9 are getting slated. Only they know the circumstances they were in whilst over there. But it is clearly evident that they were not permitted to see or speak to Mrs D.

Yet she is the one who pulls the strings.

She is the one who HID HERSELF FROM SUPPORTERS IN PUNE.
