Is it possible assess how much effect the sending off had on the turn around in the Scoreline?

It turned the game quicker than it might have done but Rovers came out second half the better team and it was a keeper error (poor kick) that resulted in their second. That was after the ref got in the way of the ball in the build up to their first.

The man advantage seemed to stop late on at Preston went for it. We looked nervy almost the entire time between the third and fourth goals but they couldn’t fashion a chance without a bit of help from us. Thankfully that didn’t come.

I thought we got away with one last night as the result was harsh on the Nobbers. In my view the Nobbers right back (who stupidity got sent off) was the best player on the pitch and their number 10 and captain also looked good. There were some decent Rovers performances notably Whitehall who looked a player. For me we have the ball away too much and even at 3-2 down and with ten players Nobbers were creating chances.

That matters not a not though as the result is there all and end all. Our youngsters celebrated wildly at the end and hopefully we can beat Arsenal in the quarter final.

Biggest laugh was watching their fullback look totally shocked that taking the throw (significantly) from the wrong place was a foul throw and you don’t get to have another go like in kids football.

He ended up wasting valuable time during stoppage time.

Actually the biggest laugh was the support Gent got every time he touched the ball to counter the booing that the Nobbers tried to get going. Nice ovation when he went off later too.

They aren’t half bitter. First half, yes, they were on top but until that second goal Rovers were starting to dominate. A narrow one and we were on the right side of it. 4-2 flattered, 3-2 whilst nervy, didn’t.

It was a clear sending off abetted by an over zealous challenge from a Rovers player. The Nobber reacted and was rightly sent off for violent conduct. The referee didn't see the challenge as a foul as the game restarted with a Nobbers throw. Most of the Nobbers are clearly embittered but at least some are objective.

My brother was at Rovers for a couple of years until he was 9, even then it was being coached to all the outfield players the best technique for diving.

Some very bitter PNE fans on there

Yes, the importance of character in developing a successful football club cannot be underestimated - and Tony Mowbray is making certain we are going about things in the right way at all levels of the club.

Anyone heard anything about the small matter of the dingles match on Thursday at Morecambe. Both clubs maintaining a complete wall of silence and pretending nothing is happening, despite numerous requests for information.

I rang the ticket office, it's £5 for adults, £3 concessions and free for season ticket holders.

'They want to play FIFA nonsense football and the ref wants to join in as well.'

Uhhh. Yes, they want to play the FIFA rules, as those are...the rules of the game. Gotta learn some time nobber, got to play men's rules where you don't get to raise your hands to someone's head. What are they expecting?

Off... waterlogged pitch

And Blackburn Rovers are playing Burnley in... Morecambe, because?

To keep as many fans away as possible, which seems to be the policy in youth games against Burnley for unbefuckingknown reason?
