New Camera Position In Riverside

Recommended Posts

Anyone have any news about the other changes that were supposedly going to be made at Ewood this summer? I heard there was a new jumbotron going between the Darwen End/Jack Walker stands and digital advertising boards around the pitch, but there's no sign of these from the photos taken recently.

The big screen rumour was complete rubbish!

No idea about adverts... was glad when they got rid of those.

Looks more like a scaffolding to help fix the leaky roof judging by the locations, rather than any attempt at a new camera position.

Yep just seems to be scaffolding although maybe they are running the cables in the roof or something or building a walkway for the new gantry.

More likely just changing light bulbs !

So will everyone be getting a seat transfer to the Riverside for televised matches?

No. Will they hell. If you've bought a season ticket in the Jack Walker stand you should be shamed into sitting there live on TV supporting the Venkys reign of Blackburn Rovers Football Club.

Wasn't too sure exactly where to put this. But has anyone been down to Ewood lately? Have you noticed how filthy it is? Have a little look if you drive past. Rust on the gates/fencing. The stands are filthy on the outside with clear brown streaks below the wording for the JW stand. It is terrible, and truly a sign of the times under Venky's. Needs a good clean and painting, but our billionaire owners will have trouble covering the costs no doubt, until Marshall and Duffy are sold anyways.
