Seen on Tw@tter from a rovers fan we've apparently been linked with Sammy Ameobi. Was going too mention him the other night when I saw he'd been released from Newcastle but a quick google and I saw Forest and Bolton were after him so I didn't bother mentioning him. Always thought he had the potential to be a good player that kid, I'm sure a champ club will end up taking him but who knows.

Both my lads have played Football manager for many years, for a short while I was concerned whether they could differentiate between reality and an online game, but it all turned out to be fine.

I'd be slightly more concerned for a few on this message board.

Hahaha Chaddy is clearly a big Footy manager player the way he talks about players and formations etc. A few of the players he's said we should be after are always solid on Footy Manager. He's nearly as bad as sky sports news who on there Transfer centre actually refer to a player's football manager stats too see which areas of there game they excel in. The worlds gone mad. As addictive as it is IT'S A FOOKING GAME

But who? Name some players. All I ever read from you is how awful players are, whether that's Nyambe or the new signing Whittingham. Name some players you would like to be signed who you consider good players.

Quite frankly I think Whittingham is a gre....good signing. He is experience which will probably be essential if the rumours of us getting rid of Mulgrew come true and the fact we are likely to field developing players. Other than his experience he's good with the ball, is a set piece specialist and has been a leader throughout his career. He also has a promotion under his belt and has been named in the team of the season on several occasions.

In respect of his role at Blackburn Rovers he will be filling a hole in the midfield. We've lacked creativity from the centre of midfield all season and Whittingham provides just that. His experience will help in game management, his football brain aid in dictating the tempo and his range of passing free up our wingers and, hopefully, our new strikers. Whittingham is the type of player we have been missing all season and his mind and ability might have seen us hold onto more leads.

I want you to explain why this isn't a good signing. So far you've just given us absolute drivel. It's the same level of nonsense you spewed out over Nyambe. Both you and Chaddy are two sides of the same coin and perhaps this is why you are both like toddlers arguing over anything and

still waiting for these 3 names I asked you for or can you just not be bothered and much prefer to moan and whinge about every signing and their agent is, instead of focusing on the player talent and attributes

so am I going to get these 3 names or not?????

I'm afraid that's not my remit to play championship manager, you rock up with whoever and then it's either they get the nod or not .

If dreams thinks Nyambe performed well last season then dreams of 95 can dream on. (Richard Brown )

Twitter rumour that was just mentioned in an above comment! Praying a rumour is all it is, sammy ameobi is dreadful

I always thought he looked like he had potential the first few times i watched him? Didn't see much of him at Bolton last season mind. Surely better than Feeney though?!

Is it right Danny Graham is going to Bury or is my lad winding me up?

Really? I think your lad is on the wind up

Mowbray praised him today in his BBC Radio Lancs interview as Danny Graham is back in working on his fitness already with the fitness coach..

Would ye sell Graham for 1 million?

No because 1. He will be invaluable in League 1, scoring 20 goals plus (if fit) and 2. Because the money wouldn't be available for new players and we would end up bringing in a freebie who's scored 3 goals in 3 years

Since Graham signed a full contract at Rovers he's scored at 1 in 3, plus a good all round CF game.

In L1 and with improved service via Peter W expected then he should improve his scoring rate and get 20+

I think Graham himself will be ok to give L1 and promo a go.

Do his wages suit Vs now we have PW on £10k+ and is he TMs sort of player? I think wages are a problem but Vs can pay them!!

Keep him.
