I am quietly optimistic, so far, about the new season.

Think TM has made some decent signings for this level.

My big concern is the owners.  I would be very surprised if our our 'big three' (Mulgrew, Lenihan and Graham) are still with Rovers come 1 Sept..  Hope TM hasn't been led up the garden path!

Agreed.

My concern is we currently have one ageing striker, and another who goes to watch Hibs on match days.

I do think some of the optimism on social media is OTT and slightly hysterical.

Looking like Samuel will sign tomorrow and Whether Caddis will be offer a deal now.

Still need a striker and pacey winger.

Knowing our owners it'll be j Lloyd Samuel on a 3 year deal..

22 points from 15 games considering how many Coyle had got in 31 games.

Plus Mowbray had a game plan and better tactical whilst under Coyle we didnt have this.

You forgot to add that he inherited coyles very poor squad with no chance of bringing in anyone else

You promised to stay away after your stupid posts last season.

But it's good you're back - this place benefits from having a few idiots like yourself.

I'll be on you like a ton of bricks if you try similar antics this season.

Well some people clearly don't change!

Anybody actually believe we have a squad that can go up as it stands?  We have gone from 'bids in for strikers' to 'happy with how the squad is coming along'.

VENKY LiGHT ON RED.  SALES NEEDED!

Difficult to say as it stands we're a bit thin squad wise. We need to hit the ground running especially with the early games which are against a couple of sides whom will be in or around the playoffs

We aren't going to hit the ground running though at this rate.  We are woefully weak up front.  No doubt we will get a loan or 2 in before the deadline but as it stands we are way too short on options.

Trouble is; the season starts before the deadline.

80 goals needed according to Tony. As things stand we need Danny Graham to score 60.

Bids are still in for strikers and he's also happy with how the squad is coming along. It says so in the article.
