That shouldn't affect the VAR decision. He has been kicked with the ball nowhere near and Liverpool should have had a free kick. It's a clear and obvious error by the referee and the goal should have been overturned.

Perhaps the ref thought it was a Clear and Obvious dive first up so played the advantage, so when VAR reviewed it, any alleged foul wasn't deemed to a be Clear and Obvious error as it was the theatrics that were far more Clear and Obvious.

Hope that Clears things up.

Judging from social media, they've quickly forgotten about those times they benefited.

Leicester 5-0 up at Soton at half time. Now in 2nd place.

What a brilliant appointment, Brendan Rodgers.

And we used to see Leicester as cannon fodder not many years ago

Astonishing match. Southampton fans that stayed til the end have literally earned their stripes tonight.

Meanwhile at the other end...

Amazing result. Goes to show what good coaching and good recruitment can do. Look at what Man U have spent on dross compared to Leicester. Does help to have the PL money coming in.

we couldn't have picked a worse time to get relegated. Just before the big money started.

9-0! Absolute madness.

Equalled the biggest PL win, and set a new all-time first division record away win.

Sometimes you just need "a fit", and Leicester have found it again. We haven't had one since Sam, shame on our pathetic, wasteful, incompetent owners.

Listening to Rogers after the game highlights what a real manager sounds like.

I guarantee he doesn't go into games against Arsenal, West Ham, Wolves etc saying "we'll probably lose but we'll give it our all"

I cant abide Rodgers and never have been able to forgive him since his comments about Kean some years ago but fair play he's doing very well.

Leicester just one of clubs that seem to get almost all major decisions bang on. Appointments of Pearson, Ranieri and Rodgers massively successful, even Shakespeare and Puel did steady jobs. Dont let sentiment and loyalty get in their way. Ready to sack those managers the moment it started to unravel for the good of the.club rather than individuals and laziness. Very good recruitment record. Engage with their fans.

Like Wolves that is what happens when foreign owners walk the walk and deliver on promises rather than hiding away behind excuses.

Rodgers is arrogant and annoying and talks a lot of rubbish (Maddison visiting the casino for company). But he is also a top coach and manager, and man manager at that. He knows his stuff and Leicester's recruitment team are quality.

Tried to watch it but feed broke just before the first goal went in..

Some thoughts on this season.

Liverpool are going through a bad patch now but are so strong they are still cranking out results.

If Liverpool do falter, Leicester are good enough to make the title a three horse race with Man City.

Arsenal's youngsters are good enough to be title contenders next season.

Chelsea are not that far behind Arsenal.

Spurs and Man U are not really at the races and those 5 are going forwards so strongly getting back into contention this season or next is a huge ask beyond both of them.

Wolves are showing the sort of resilience that could turn into a champions League place challenge next season further complicating life for Spurs and Man U.
