Conway for Dack is an odd one, seems a poor choice.

Why bother with gladwin on the bench when Chapman and Dack are on there? Nuttall should be ahead of him

Ward back in - why? Very harsh on the new guy. He doesnt like Dack at home does he? other than that - pretty predictable aprt from Whittinghams starting - hope he shows his class now.

Edit: okay downing is injured - thanks chaddy

Sharpe has it as a 4-2-3-1:-

Raya

Caddis WARD Mulgrew Williams

Smallwood Whittingham

CONWAY Bennett Anntonsson

Samuel

.....but I very much doubt that with Whittingham in there. More like:-

                Raya

Caddis WARD Mulgrew Williams

Bennett Smallwood Whittingham CONWAY

           Anntonsson

             Samuel

...or even 5 in midfield.

I don't trust Whittinghan in the slightest to track back.

This has got Southend written all over it. Hope I'm very wrong.

COYB!!!!!!!!!!!

Knowing how TM likes to tinker with these things - its probably a bit of both

One certainty is that Samuel is up front - the rest - anyones guess.

Oldham will line-up in a 4-4-2 formation this afternoon...

Placide

Dummigan Clarke Bryan Hunt

Gardner Byrne Fans Nepomuceno

Davies Doyle

Decent striker force that.  Our old friend Byrne in the middle alongside some fans. Times are tough at Oldham. They also seem to have a hot beverage from Starbucks playing on the wing.

Bit disappointed with Dack being on the bench, I quite like what I've seen from him so far and I'm sure he'd only get better with more starts. Thought he was unlucky to be taken off last game too when he'd provided a good link between the midfield and Samuel.

Come on Rovers!

The highly rated Byrne that was set to be the nxt Paul Scholes - when we had him. Now at a bottom of League 1 club.

Tinkering? If Evans and Downing can't play the only change is Conway for Dack. Given that whittingham is a bit lightweight then (imo) not wrong to add a more "solid" LM (not least after we were dreadful last game...)

What is wrong with Evans? Injury?

Not sure - but remember we are just his gym for Nortern Ireland. What I dont like is whe dont have anyone on the bench to replace Whits if he aint up to it.
