JHRover
As soon as the dust has settled on his latest catastrophic spell running/ruining a club he comes out of the woodwork looking for another opportunity. Lo and behold Sky Sports are more than happy to put him on their programmes to offer his 'expert' advice whilst putting him in the shop window. Of course scratch beneath the surface and you find the Arsenal-SEM-Anderson chain and then you wonder why those guys at Sky are so keen to look after him.

Vinjay
Well I doubt Anderson (or most agents) ever saw Blackpool as a cash cow. Asked if there was any truth in Coyle links several days back. Told there isn't. So much for him being the only candidate. Somehow think he would have been appointed by now if he was.

JHRover
https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/oct/18/blackpool-takeover-valeri-belokon-owen-oyston Good article on the state of play at Bloomfield Road.
47er
You have to feel for their supporters. We have both been through the mill but at least we seem to be on the up. They just drift, seemingly indefinitely.
philipl
A Blackpool fan has climbed onto the roof of the Arsenal team bus to protest against the Oystons. BBC saying kick off potentially delayed. Can't they get another bus or taxis or hitch a lift with the Old Bill? Walk?

MCMC1875
Valery Belokon considering appointing a Court Receiver to obtain the outstanding £25m he is owed. This is unprecedented in English football. All 3 fan groups considering ending their boycott together, should this happen. Looks like the end game for Oyston. https://www.blackpoolgazette.co.uk/sport/football/blackpool-fc/blackpool-fan-groups-release-joint-statement-about-potential-impact-of-court-receiver-1-9532125
Norbert Rassragr
So if that all goes ahead, Blackpool would be taken off Oyston's hands and then dismantled and shut down to recoup money. Is that basically the effect on the club?

philipl
Belokon is likely to become a "star" for his BIB banking in the forthcoming productions of "Donald duck- dodgy dough" and "Drat Den Danske"
MCMC1875
Valeri Belokon’s application to have a Court Receiver appointed to recoup the £25m he is still owed by Oyston is expected to be heard in the High Court February 11th-13th. SIMON GARNERS 194
I pray and hope for Blackpool fans sake that Belokon has the best interests of the Club at Heart. Personally not sure.
Norbert Rassragr
I think his name popped up in the Mueller investigation sometime last year as part of a money laundering scheme with one of Donald Trump's sons. https://thesternfacts.com/trump-jr-now-tied-to-banker-behind-russian-money-laundering-scheme-6664d24642fc A bit more information on the allegations. http://www.cisarbitration.com/2017/02/28/money-laundering-allegations-by-kyrgyzstan-against-latvian-investor-resurface-in-paris-cour-dappel/ https://www.acerislaw.com/valeri-belokon-v-kyrgyz-republic-money-laundering-investment-arbitration/ So it seems it is a choice of what kind of terminal disease they prefer. Backroom DE. Posted February 13, 2019 Backroom Share Posted February 13, 2019 Good luck to Blackpool. Their fans have been through hell. In 2012 I thought we had the worst owners in the country, but the Oystons said "hold our beers" and made Venky's look almost benevolent in comparison.
Norbert Rassragr
The problem is that if that other guy gains control, they'll have an equally dodgy owner.

Some financial conviction abroad has prevented him taking over. He's denied it but not sure he can appeal.
