Songs at Ewood

If you're gonna talk about them how about something less stale and tired than the 1563452322 unfunny six fingered "joke". How about some cutting, meaningful insults (or something just fairly generic like bastards which is used anyway) rather than this lowest common denominator idiocy? A chant like that is an embarrassment to Dack and to the club.

Really do shake my head at the maturity of some fans when oafs like Dunn make a joke on twitter about inbreeding and people react like he's said the funniest thing imaginable. Its not funny in the slightest one of the few things I've ever agreed with Jim Wilkinson on. Yeah OK its no secret I'm not the most enthralled by that fixture on here (and please lets not argue about that) but that's besides the point. It just isn't funny.

Also isn't it supposed to be songs that have actually been used before? I've never heard that one.

Not trying to be a total snob as lowbrow humor can be funny in some cases. For instance Better Call Saul with "Squat Cobbler" and "Tony the toilet buddy" or WWE years ago when Kaientai attempted to castrate Val Venis. Chants like one Oldham fans used "who's the worst manager in the football league? Its you Dunn, Dunn, Dunn, its you Dunn Dunn". Now that's funny though its not really lowbrow actually just immature. Not to mention it was probably true as well which scores an extra bonus point from me.

I woke up this morning feeling fine

I got Blackburn Rovers on my mind.

Tony got us playing the way the Rovers should        oh ya

Something tells me Rovers are going up

(To the the tune of I'm into something good)

Saw a video of it been sang on a train on the way home from the Forest win last season but instead of saying Rovers are going up they were singing Rovers are staying up.

I've been searching the topics for the words to September by Earth, Wind and Fire which are used for Ritchie Smallwood. Cannot find them. Can someone help?

However, reading this thread I've come up with a song for Bradley Dack. To the song, "Black is black" by Los Bravos:-

Dack is Dack

He's on fire in attack

He shoots, he shoots

He wears those golden boots

Wo ho, what can we do

When Bradley Dack he wears

Half white and blue.

Well there it is for what it's worth. Needs a bit of tweaking.

Do you remember the
21st night of September?
Love was changing the minds of pretenders
While chasing the clouds away

Our hearts were ringing
In the key that our souls were singing
As we danced in the night
Remember how the stars stole the night away

Ba de ya - say do you remember
Ba de ya - dancing in September
Ba de ya - never was a cloudy day

Ba duda, ba duda, ba duda, badu
Ba duda, badu, ba duda, badu
Ba duda, badu, ba duda

My thoughts are with you
Holding hands with your heart to see you
Only blue talk and love
Remember how we knew love was here to stay

Now December found the love we shared in September
Only blue talk and love
Remember the true love we share today

Ba de ya - say do you remember
Ba de ya - dancing in September
Ba de ya - never was a cloudy day

There was a
Ba de ya - say do you remember
Ba de ya - dancing in September
Ba de ya - golden dreams were shiny days

The bell was ringing, aha
Our souls were singing
Do you remember
Never a cloudy day

There was a
Ba de ya - say do you remember
Ba de ya - dancing in September
Ba de ya - never was a cloudy day

There was a
Ba de ya - say do you remember
Ba de ya - dancing in September
Ba de ya - golden dreams were shiny days

Ba de ya de ya de ya
Ba de ya de ya de ya
Ba de ya de ya de ya
De ya

Ba de ya de ya de ya
Ba de ya de ya de ya
Ba de ya de ya de ya

Oh way oh, we've got Richie Smallwood

Oh way oh, he's the king of Ewood

Oh way  oh, he never gives the ball away.

Whilst we're on new songs, can anybody help with the words to the Charlie Mulgrew song.  Everything's sung at such breakneck speed these days it's almost impossible to pick the words up!

Something about we've got Mulgrew, Charlie mulgrew, then I'm lost!

Similar to sheff wed’s “Carlos had a dream”

Mowbray had a dream

to take this football team

to the premier league it’s where we belong

with raya in goal

and dack in the hole

were Blackburn rovers, Venkys are ar**holes

OR you could swap it for

with dack in the hole

graham scoring goals

To the tune of My Name is Jack by Manfred Mann:

His name is Dack
And he’s on the attack at his Blackburn Rovers home
With goals I will remember
Wherever I may roam
And his names Dack
And He’s on the attack  at his Blackburn Rovers home And he shags all the girls

We all love Dack

And He’s on the attack

at his Blackburn Rovers home

And he shags all the girls
Da da da da da dada dada da
