I laugh (derisory) at the people saying 'I think he'll get us up'

The way he's been performing is unacceptable and he won't get us up.

He's dour, no enthusiasm for the game and not the right person (at this moment)

I wish he would wake up and show some fight and passion; instead we get hands in pocket, duck faced pessimism.

But hey, who knows... keep on clapping away.

I'd never want my team to lose but I'm kind of glad we didn't equalise and force a replay, not needed and full focus on the league now starting with next weeks mahoosive game. I'd never write a player off and I don't understand some people's berating of Nyambe. Nuttall on the other hand just isn't ready for me, he's scored a couple of tap-ins and fair play you've got too be there to stick them in but I've never left a game after watching him and thought that this kid is anywhere near good enough YET too be starting at league one level. He's definitely not the finished article but for now, he should definitely be limited to coming off the bench, if the Armstrong loan goes through I wouldn't expect too see much from Nuttall for the rest of the season and a loan move next season for him would do him good.

Few thoughts:

Samuel and Nuttall offered nothing, and they didn't look like they wanted to prove or point or make life tough for the opposition defence, really disappointing. Up until a few weeks ago, maybe after his spell out of the team when Nuttall was starting, I wasn't impressed with Graham this season but he's head and shoulders above those two at the moment. I thought Samuel was going to kick on after he looked up for it coming off the bench v Bristol Rovers, scoring and winning a penalty, but he's been poor pretty much ever since.

We are so reliant on Dack for any kind of spark, creativity or the ability to beat a man and make something happen. The starting midfield was Bennett, Evans, Tomlinson and Conway. Nothing going forward is going to come from those four.

I thought Nyambe did very well and his pace and strength were even more evident at CB than RB. There was one occasion in the first half where it looked like their striker was going to go through on goal but he sprinted past him to get there first. If that was Ward, for example, he'd have been through on goal. That said, I'd have probably started Nyambe at RB and Wharton at CB. We know what Caddis can and can't do, whereas it would have been good to see Wharton again.

Bennett. Stop trying cross field balls that you aren't capable of.

Another goal conceded from a corner. I'm not overly fussed about being knocked out but it's worrying that this has happened again. Needs sorting asap.

20 minutes into game ,current discussion on there on who Bryan Douglas and Ronnie Clayton are , conclusion they must have played for Blackburn with stands named after them

Do your football home work you cheeky, disrespectful Hull no marks.

Elliott Bennett, is he really offering anything bar hard work? 0 goals and very few assists, not good enough all season yet hides behind a hard worker tag. Hes a winger in a team chasing promotion, he needs to do something or he doesnt deserve a place.

Bennett’s form is a cause for concern. He’s not scoring whatsoever and I can only recall a couple of assists this season. As you rightly say, hard work is not enough nor is being a social media ambassador for the club.

For my money we need to bring in two wide players this month because Conway and Bennett are either knackered or not offering enough at the moment and we have bugger all in the way of alternatives with Chapman and Antonsson out (the latter not even being an out and out wide man).

To be fair, they did their homework at half time , and said something like "-we are not being disrespectful, we are just ignorant - They were quite funny to listen to and occasionally told you what was going on , on the pitch

I'm his biggest critic ( with the exception of jal) but nymabe did ok today. He still always looks like he is ready to do something ridiculous and gift a goal but he did play well today. Glad to see Travis get some game time. Thought he did well and was equal if not better than Evans already. Caddis was woeful. We're out and I'm going to bed before my night shift. Booyakasha

Disappointed that our unbeaten run came to an end, we should have buried at least one of the chances that came our way in the second half. Glad I wasn't the only one who thought Nyambe was MOM ,  I didn't think he put a foot wrong all afternoon.

How did Travis do, does he look capable of breaking into the first team?

I thought he looked really good. Used to seeing his at right back but he was very lively and prepared to put a tackle in. Could go either way though, as I was similarly impressed with Tomlinson when he started out.

Oooh, that'd be a tough one for you wouldn't it? Your 2 heroes (who are both incidently complete failures), which one would you pick?

Well we've got the ex-leader of one of the biggest political parties in the country.

Then we've got the manager of the biggest football club in Lancashire.

and finally we've got good old Royston Vasey, a fake Chubby Brown with an infatuation for old episodes of mastermind?

Hard decision.......leave it me, I've started so I'll finish......

You never want to lose games, but with the squad recovering from illness this could be a blessing in disguise.

I thought first half we didn't get going and struggled badly apart from Caddis shot that hit the bar. Mowbray changed his formation 30 mins due to being over run by Hull midfielders there from 4-4-2 to 4-5-1.

Second half was the same until we went 1 nil down and Mowbray brought on Graham and Dack. both had an impacted and Graham missed a sitter. don't know how he didn't score even now. We created 2 golden chances and Williams the other when it was easier to score.

Travis was impressive and looked solid in midfield and not afraid from putting a tackle. Tomlinson put a tackle in until he was booked and faded due to not wanted another yellow card.

disappointed but time to promote from this league NOW!

Do you agree on my analysis of Dominic Samuel and Elliott Bennett that I mentioned you in?

How was Nuttall?

He looked genuinely lazy last time I saw him which I just can't fathom for a lad his age

poor and not working hard enough.

a talent there just need developing and coaching. hopeful stays after this season

Was a really poor performance, although not too bothered about the cup.

All we have going forward is Graham and Dack, and its worrying. Graham won everything when he came on, missed a sitter though. But pinned them back, and Dack was far more inventive. Bar them 2 and Chapman whose out for basically the season, we have nothing.

- Dominic Samuel, I know he was wide most of today, which was stupid in itself, but what do people see in him? (bar pace, which Feeney had and look where that got him) @chaddyrovers i know you rate him, what am I missing? And why is his terrible attitude overlooked whereas Grahams is critically analysed?

- Joe Nuttall, got a couple of goals to his credit but hes nowhere near ready. Offers nothing, needs to get a longer contract and to be loaned to League 2.

- Elliott Bennett, is he really offering anything bar hard work? 0 goals and very few assists, not good enough all season yet hides behind a hard worker tag. Hes a winger in a team chasing promotion, he needs to do something or he doesnt deserve a place.

Evans is a waste of space, and Nyambe returned to being a total liability albeit in the wrong position. And as others have said, do we not work on set pieces?

Travis has a worryingly similar run and hairstyle to Lowe but he put in a couple of tackles so my instant fear that wed got him back in the team sneakily was unfounded.

We need to sign at least 2 pacy attacking players, if we do sign Armstrong then its more depth but Graham and Dack are not the problem, its the galling lack of support. Conway tries and wins free kicks but his legs have packed in, Chapmans injured long term, Bennett isnt doing nearly enough, Antonssons injured and was hardly pulling up trees, there are 2 obvious places on either side that no one has claimed a place in, and we need new players in this week before trying to sign sub left backs.

I like Samuel cos he pace and isn't a target man. not that sort of player, He can finisher and today he played wide majority of the gam. He can finish and there is a talent there just needs developing and coaching. Didn't think anything wrong with his attitude tbh.

on Bennett, he a wide midfielder not outright winger. I'm disappointed by his lack of goals, but assist stats are misleading. Cant fault his work rate and effort

Nyambe was good today. how liability?

agreed on Evans.

How many goals does Antonsson have?

Armstrong will be pushing Graham and I expected to see him starting shortly after he joins. he a goalscorer and pace. might see a change of formation of formation.

no I dont

If you thought Graham is lazy earlier this season, Samuel is the same, when it doesnt go his way he looks totally disinterested, he waves his arms around, doesnt show for the ball, hes hardly got a prolific record in his career, there are attributes there but pace isnt enough, Feeney had pace and was he at all useful? Target man or not a target man, especially when hes not prolific he needs to be able to hold the ball up, and he cant.

Is there really a difference? Like i said, work rate/effort is not enough for a wide man in a team aiming for automatic promotion, no goals and very few assists have left our forwards feeding on scraps. I'm aware he works hard and thats all well and good but its not enough. What else bar work rate is he offering at the moment? He needs to start scoring or at least setting up more clear cut chances or he deserves to be dropped. But we have no wingers worthy of the name bar the injured Chapman.

I thought he was an error waiting to happen but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, he was played out of position and has improved lately.

A total change of formation would be senseless after a run of is it 24 points from 10 games. Main 2 urgent tweaks need to be training on defending set pieces, and some pace and creativity out wide.

I sort of agree but I do think he will drag us over the line but your right overall looking at next year he should be gone. Neal Ardley get us up and have enough time to put your print in the squad

He played better than his previous cup game. He looks capable of having a run in the first team on that display. Not so Tomlinson who again disappointed me.

Nyambe was definitely MOM. I think even the Hull forwards would agree with me there.

Nuttall and Samuel together up front were very poor. Not the answer to our problems.

I hate getting knocked out of cup competitions. No spark to look forward to in the 4th round draw.:(

Thought you'd have gone? Did I see you giving the "he don't watch games earlier" or did one post something the uneducated socialist not agree with?
