Maybe wrong forum but didnt find anything relating to hotels on the forum, we dont have many to choose from in Blackburn and any tips and tricks would do it for us fans travelling to Blackburn for games. Just found The Willows on the net and found it quite a good price for three nights, it might be a bit to far out from central locations. Anyone with experience with that hotel?

Stop in Darwen at either Whitehall Country Club or Astley Bank. On game day you can walk to either The Park, Spinners or Craven Heifer and have a couple of pints and then catch the bus from the pub to Ewood and then back after the game. There's also a host of quality restaurants and bars in Darwen and 3 great parks and woods if you fancy a walk.

There's a Premier Inn just outside the train station. Probably takes 30 minutes to walk to Ewood from there, or a 5 minute bus ride.

My hotel of choice PhilT when in town for the footy, decent Caribbean restaurant next door also, but darren mentions Astley Bank also in Darwen, which was top notch on food and accommodation last time I stayed.
