Yep, the key word is controlled. Don't go around shoving Powell without the ball. Just get stuck into him when he does have it.

Brilliant from Rovers. The biggest worry by far is getting someone sent off. Time now for Mowbray to sort that.

Great desire all throughout that half. Fight, tenacity and a will to win. And all when it most matters in the big game. That's a great sign. And a special nod to Lenihan in that regard. He's been immense. 

I did note that both goals came about with the two wide attacking players playing on the inverted flanks, and having the ball on their strong foot. Big credit to Mowbray for getting that right.

Great first half - Wigan have held the ball for periods, but we've fought tooth and nail for everything so far.

Great half; winning the individual battles and wanting it more than them. Key thing now is to show the same in the second half and to keep our heads. I’d get Evans off in a bit too simply because he’s been pretty poor and the ref may cave under pressure from their manager/players. COYB, another half like that please!

We look very solid. Going forward we have real danger men. Graham is so wise with his play, always contests with players faster and stronger by using his brain and judging where the ball will go. 

If we score next it will be huge
